Wish you guys had some more gluten-free options, but I understand it's expensive($7.59 for a loaf of bread these days). My boyfriend and I go there twice a month on Sundays and have enjoyed each visit! Our drinks are made well and timely. I think some of you have not given him that grace and have no idea how hard it is to manage a kitchen, especially if you are by yourself!The owner is quirky and always makes us laugh whenever we go! “I called this morning hoping that they could deliver some donuts to My aunt at the convent tomorrow for her birthday again like they did last year. They informed me that they were no longer doing delivery, because the third party delivery company was charging too much, but once she heard the circumstances, the owner asked her daughter to make the delivery personally. Now that is customer service!“

“Buz is located conveniently down the street from my work so it is a weekly/daily stop for me and my staff. The baristas and owner always great us with a smile and excellent service. Judging from the convos I’ve over heard while in line, they really take the time to get to know their customers.I’ve had many different drinks and have enjoyed them all.My favorite is a caramel latte with chocolate cold foam. They once showed a picture of this on their instagram and it’s had me hooked and I have ordered it for a year and a half!I also love that they support other locally owned businesses.If you are looking for a great to-go coffee place definitely stop by!“
“Firstly, tea is a little watery unless you’re getting the fruit kind. If you’re getting the fruit kind it tastes like a baja cactus just punched you across the face and is winding back for another one. There’s usually honey on the side, if you’re the type.Employees are genuinely so nice. It’s appalling how much money I have spent on tips. You also see a lot of businessmen wearing their silly little backpacks which is in no way a negative.I finished six novel queries over the course of an hour, here, which is unheard of when I’m not on adderall. “Charming shop with a lot of 1-2 person seating options. Great for conversation or studying. I stopped to grab an iced decaf Pumpkin Spice Latte on a lunchtime walk. My drink was FAR SUPERIOR to anything I've ever tasted from a large-chain coffeeshop. The barista was kind, helpful, and quick. I will definitely be back next time I'm in Dubuque.“

“Totally worth seeking out! I admit it's a little hidden but this is a gem. The cupcakes are addictive. I think it might be the frosting but really it's the whole bite. Also, along with the bakery, there is a plant-based food grill with a small menu of what appeared to be delicious offerings (I didn't order any). I imagine this kind of menu is hard to find - so good for them! My only disappointment was the younger woman helping me was not exactly welcoming or friendly. But, again.....the frosting!!“
“Me and my girlfriend are a regular at beakers, and every time I go there I have such a wonderful experience, the coffee is amazing, the selection is amazing, and I quite enjoy the good conversation. Coffee or lotus drinks are made perfectly every single time, and honestly I have to say beakers coffee is better then Starbucks. So if anyone is reading this give beakers the ole college try and I promise that you won't be disappointed.“
