Sweet Memories Reviews
Took the kids up the 4th street elevator and stopped in for a quick scoop to cool off! Pleasantly surprised by the new aesthetic and had a really great conversation with the incredibly friendly new owner and her helpful kids! Very excited for what’s to come at this must-visit Dubuque landmark!

The customer service was excellent. The owner, her teenage boys, and the employees were friendly, helpful, and made everyone feel welcome. It honestly felt like they were trying to create a sweet memory with every scoop of ice cream.

The ice cream is delicious! The owner is amazing! And it's just steps away from the Fenelon Funicular, so two amazing things right next to each other! Definitely worth a visit!

Sweet Memories is a small ice cream and candy shop located near the bottom of the Fenelon Elevator. With a variety of ice cream flavors to choose from, including unique options like Fat Elvis and Jacked Up Tennessee Toffee, it's a fun stop for those with a sweet tooth. The shop also offers candies, chocolates, and craft items for sale. While the seating inside is limited, it's a great place to grab a treat to go. The atmosphere is described as cute and spot on, perfect for families with kids. Although the service was deemed okay and not overly engaging, the overall experience was enjoyable and the reviewer still recommends visiting. Street parking is available nearby, and taking a short walk to the shop adds to the charm of the experience.
