I'd wanted to try bibimbap ever since I heard about it on a cooking show - it is FANTASTIC! I've never been disappointed by anything I've ordered here...just wish I lived closer - would probably go at least once a week!
I highly recommend everything about this restaurant and suggest making it a regular stop whenever you're in Visit Fort Dodge. The food and service are exceptional-just like the name, Gaga & Hoo, which translates to "The best beautiful Korean Restaurant" in English.
Tip: Keep a lookout for the cute fun robot server.
This place is a hidden gem. Amazing food, great service and a beautiful atmosphere. Tonight I had the Bulgogi, Kimchi and steamed rice. My girlfriend had the Bibimbap and we split some mandu (dumplings). Gaga & Hoo never disappoints.

The service is excellent with kind people. A highlight is Gaga the robot delivering the food, and the owner sometimes ends the night by singing songs while playing guitar. The food is always hot, fresh, and tasty, with fresh ingredients. Menu favorites include the bibimbap in the stone bowls, chicken fried rice, and bulgogi. The steak was perfectly cooked. For dessert, try their specialty desserts, which change from time to time. Everything on the menu is fantastic, and the restaurant is a must try for something relaxing, unique, and delicious.
