This was my second visit to Mineral City Mill and Grill in Visit Fort Dodge and both visits were exceptional. It's a locally owned restaurant with a relaxing atmosphere, outstanding service, and the delicious food served in just the right portions. This time, I enjoyed the Caesar salad with salmon-oh, so good!

Mineral City Mill and Grill offers good food and fair prices, with portion sizes that are generous enough to fill you up. The menu provides a lot of variety, including dishes such as sausage and peppers, Reuben sandwiches, and the highly recommended Tuskegee Turkey. Customers have noted that the food and service can be quite good. The salmon salad is delicious tasting and the black mussels are surprisingly fresh. The parking lot and restaurant, including the bathrooms, are very clean. The menus are also clean. The Cajun Pasta with Chicken was good, though the chicken had a bit too much extra dry seasoning. The steaks are amazing and could be cut with a butter knife, cooked to perfection. Staff are excellent and pleasant, with one server being very sweet. It remains a good choice for lunch or dinner at decent prices.
