“Stopped in here on a roadtrip a couple years ago and almost got in a bar fight with one of the locals because I asked if the seat next to him was taken. I guess the police were looking for him because of a hit and run earlier. Awesome bar! I'll be sure to stop back for more action next time I pass through.“

“Food was really good and very reasonably priced. I saw the Wahlburgers sign on the outside and thought that's where we were eating, but once we got inside, all we saw was grocery store deli food that you get yourself and bring into the dining room. I'm still not sure how Wahlburgers plays into the whole thing, but the deli had great food and it was very inexpensive (each full sized meal was only $5).“

“Very layed back, " hole in the wall" place, with comfortable seating. We felt welcomed by the regulars and the bartender, Emily, was fantastic. There is a large raised fireplace that we plan to take advantage of through the Iowa winter.“
