“First time at Sal Vitale’s and everything was AMAZING! I really wish this Italian Ristorante was 40 miles closer to the Quad Cities. Honestly, worth the drive if you’re looking for quality Italian dishes or searching for great pizza. We could not decide on pizza or pasta so we ordered both. So glad too!Actually, thought the sausage pizza was one of the best. They make their own Italian sausage too. And their artisan crust is definitely a great mix of crispy but chewy. Love!Ordered Norino’s Seafood Pasta. Such a rich and creamy dreamy sauce on fettuccine with crab and shrimp. Magnifico!Lastly, we completed our meal with a delicious piece of tiramisu. All fabulous! Our waiter, Alex, was very attentive, and made sure we had a great experience. We definitely will make the trip back to Sal Vitale’s in Muscatine Iowa soon to try other yummy items!Parking: Plenty of parking during afternoon hours”

“Great little spot for coffee and working. Quiet (except for me as I was on a conference call!) My latte was great, very smooth and had the perfect amount of vanilla. The barista answered my questions and got my coffee ready quickly. I enjoyed my time here and will come back if I'm ever in Muscatine again.”

“Stopped here after dinner. Nice local place with a good selection of beers. They actually had two dark beers on tap that we both liked. There are cozy couches and chairs in front of a fireplace. They do serve food, we did not try.”

“We had a group of 8! Food, meatloaf special, was great and mashed potatoes are definitely real potatoes! Gravy over all of it!!They sat us in the back because we’d called ahead and weren’t sure of our number, so we didn’t have to worry about bothering anyone else. Our waitress was wonderful! She’d already poured water for us all! She waited on us hand and foot! We will be back!Sorry, I forgot to take a picture.”

“Great stop! Old school ice cream joint. They have food, but we got ice cream. We ordered Snow Storms with multiple mix ins. The girl behind the counter achieved mix in perfection. We had both flavors in every bite, all the way through. Highly recommend!!!”

“GeoJohnz might be the most underrated place in Muscatine! Fantastic pizza! The picture with this review is their sausage pizza with the white sauce. Hear me out; the white sauce is DELISH! My only regret is that I don't order/go there more often. Support this locally owned and operated downtown business!”

“When you get there, it's obvious how hard they are working. They are busy, but not rude. The ambiance is a cute little homey hole in the wall, which is where all the best food comes from. And the food, where do I even start? Some of the best Pho I have ever had. And I've had it in Hawaii, which I thought was going to be hard to step up from.”

“Homey old skool restaurant feel. The food - great pancakes, pretty good grilled chicken salad, good-looking vegetable omelets. But the absolutely, hands down, complex, filling, and flavorful Vegetable Beef soup I have ever had. I know thatSounds a bit over the top, But I just don't have enough good things to say about it.Hearty and choked full of vegetables and beef - I had one cup with my salad and was blown away!”

“The baked goat cheese and Caesar salad were extraordinarily good, my husband actually tried the goat cheese and loved it. That was a first! The ribeye was perfectly cooked and such a large cut there was enough for two meals. I had the Ahi, also a large portion, and the sauce and glaze served with it put it over the top. Everything, including the service, was perfect. One minor detail I would mention, if you're a party of two and you plan on ordering multiple sides for the table you might request a larger table. The two top was very small so when the main and side dishes came out it was like a game of Tetris, but a colorful and delicious game of Tetris!”

“I would rate only 3 stars, but food was that good. There were a couple of rowdies that seemed to bring down everyones good time. Service was slow but not unfriendly. It was my first time there. I'm not sure I'd return.Parking: Not good at all. People blocking each other in, parking in spots that weren't spots.”
