Restaurants near Garber

“The rooms here offer everything you would need. Some have ocean views which is nice. Its a cross between a hotel and Inn. Good place to stay in the town for sure. There are several other restaurants close by and the local theatre is just a short drive less than 5 min.”

“Great bar has good food and drinks”

“We were so happy to have happened upon Brim Coffee House while on tour in Iowa. Good coffee is sometimes not easy to find on the road and it was an oasis in the desert of bad coffee! @Amelia White and @Linda McRae of Tennessee Twisters from Nashville TN are so happy to have found this place. Such sweet folks too. Thanks so much Jody and everyone there. See you next time we’re through!”

“food is great , the servers not so good order for people mixed up. food took long time to come out. don't know if we will come bin there twice.”

“Best pizza there is in the area! Plus great staff, and atmosphere 🩷”

“Extremely good value for the quantity of baked goods you get. If you are driving through Elkader, it's a must stop. Do get there early though on weekends, the options get limited later in the morning since it isn't a secret how good they are”

“I have never been before and for my first time I was not disappointed they had such great food and they made it really fast. I tried their ice cream for the first time and it was wonderful for 2 sandwiches, meat and cheese omelet, and an ice cream cone was not a bad price at all super great place definitely recommend it❤️”

“As we leave the stand tonight, my son eating his first brat he can ever remember from the 2mit he exclaims " this brat is so good I can hardly stand it! " another satisfied generation!”

“Small space, colorful, has live music opportunities, and lots of beer options. The space is so small that the live music is way too loud, but it's still fun. The beer is decent.”

“Fantastic pizza I really enjoyed it, in fact it was so good I myself had 6 slices had 2 cheese, 2 chicken Alfredo’s and 2 of the meat lovers. The garlic Parmesan bread sticks were amazing as well had 4 bites of that needles to say if you haven’t tried it you’re missing out.”

“Always great food and service!!”

“Stopped in at this restaurant for their all-you-can-eat buffet and had a great experience overall. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming—perfect whether you’re just grabbing a quick bite or planning to stay and enjoy multiple trips to the buffet.

The buffet had a nice variety, and everything I tried was fresh, hot, and full of flavor. It’s clear they keep up with it and make sure food is consistently stocked and well-prepared. There was something for everyone, which made it even better.

Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, which made the whole visit even more enjoyable. Staff seemed to genuinely care about making sure everything was running smoothly.

All in all, a great local restaurant to eat, relax, and enjoy a solid all-you-can-eat buffet. I’ll definitely be back!”

“We were very lucky and honored to have our pre-wedding dinner at Schera's for our immediate family. During our family-style meal, the waiter explained what each of the dishes were, their main ingredients, and their cultural significance. Each of the dishes was amazing! Towards the end of the meal, the chef came outside to explain the story behind the dessert that he had prepared for us. All in all, it was a truly wonderful meal with amazing hospitality and with some great views. Highly recommend!”

“After many years of great experiences. Had a bad one. Called and talked with manager Amy, she listened to me, talked it out, and made it right. Very happy customer. Thanks”
