I’ve been going here over the other Mexican restaurants around Grinnell for a couple years now. Absolute best fajitas in town! I get the chicken and steak combo and they’re actually chunks of meat and not what seems like scraps of meat unlike another spot in town I won’t name. Everything else(veggies, condiments etc) always seems fresh and top tier in comparison to their competitors as well. Price is very fair for what you get just be sure to ask for extra tortillas and they’ll happily accommodate!

My tacos were great, but my wife found her fajita to be exceptionally greasy. Her napkin looked like she had changed the oil in her car. The atmosphere was colorful, with the many sunflower paintings.

First time coming here i'm from Illinois and we passed by this restaurant since nothing else was around. Yeah no my husband woke up today sick and throwing up the food I ordered had a bug in it the tortillas are SOFT FLOUR tortillas no corn :( it was not authentic Mexican food it was so white washed. Cheddar cheese on just about everything. I'm so glad i'm from Chicago because this was not it. We stopped by at Mcdonalds because we were still hungry. I don't recommend this place if you're Mexican and if you want ACTUAL authentic food this is NOT the place.

Love it here! I live in Toledo but anytime we are traveling along 80 we make it a point to hit the area at a meal time so we can stop here. Amazing atmosphere, good food and my family of 5 ate lunch for $50 with tip because of their great lunch specials.

The Chili Rellano's are delicious. My husband had a pork dish. I can't remember as it was 4 weeks ago. Very attentive and I thought very clean. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. It was recommended by someone at my Dr.'s office as we will out of town.

Vegetarian options: If you ask for a certain dish and it doesn't say vegetarian they will make it vegetarian for you.
Kid-friendliness: Many options for kids to eat. They don't mind if you get 1 dish and split it between the kids.

Beware!! Someone there stole my credit card info. My bank told me that someone skimmed my credit card to get it. Beware!!****** I am posting this after confirming it was skimmed by my bank. It started exactly 2 hrs after at eating at your establishment. This is a card I don’t use on a daily basis. I know where I used it. That’s why I’m posting this. Thank you for your reply, but you may want to watch your staff a little closer.
