“If you haven't stopped in to Pita'z Mediterranean and American Cuisine (Center Point Rd, Hiawatha) you're truly missing out. My husband and I stopped in again for dinner, and the gentleman behind the counter met us with warm cordiality. We're repeat offenders here, so we got our usuals, shish tawook with baby ganoush and chips (below) and gyro with hummus and chips, and a side of falafel. We did notice how friendly and knowledgeable he was for the first timers who came in behind us. The food is nothing short of exquisite. Everything we've had on the menu has such a beautiful blend of spices and garlic that if you take a date there and that person doesn't want to suck face with you at the end of the night, that person is not the one. This is the food that helps you find true love. The chicken was juicy and packed with flavor, paired with that addictive creamy garlic sauce and perfectly fluffy chewy pita bread. And the baba ganoush, oh that smoky goodness. The falafel was delightfully fluffy on the inside, and crispy enough on the outside that it didn't fall apart when you bit into it. My husband really enjoyed his gyro platter, but isn't as wordy as I am, but I did see his eyes roll back at least twice, so it must be fabulous. Nonetheless, please please stop in to this criminally overlooked gem.“

Their Carnivore pizza is my favorite, but there are a handful of things I want to order every time we go. Can’t say enough good things about this place, so so good!“

“I claim Paradise as my favorite Indian restaurant in town, or perhaps my favorite above all others. They are so thoughtful with their buffet options, always offering unique dishes while considering the palates of people from other backgrounds. When you want spice, they can really bring the heat (and this from a pepper head who can never get things spicy enough). The owner and staff are always kind and happy to share cultural info about their food. Ordering from the menu has always been a bountiful experience with amazing depths of flavor. I don't know how they do it, but I don't need to know. I'll just keep coming back for it.“

“It felt like 1982 when I walked in and heard all the arcade machines. This place is not quiet but it's not too much either. I miss arcades, the sounds and lights, all the classic machines being played. Awesome.

Old and young people were there on a Friday night eating and playing games. This place is my style! Made for me.

It wasn't packed but it was populated. Everyone was friendly there. We ordered a gluten free pizza and a taco pizza. They didn't take that long to make them. The pizzas were good but nothing like what I am used to. It was more authentic Italian style pizza. Different crust and sauce. There was a lot of vegan stuff available on the menu and build your own pizza. For one sheet of paper the menu had a lot to offer. I don't do vegan or gluten free but it's there if you want it.

They have a bar there also. I will try that next time, it looked well stocked. There is a parking lot right across the street so you don't have to pay to park. And you don't have to park on a busy street. That was a big plus.

They were a little busy so we actually had to go to the bar and ask for our bill. I also had to stop a server and ask for a box to take home the leftovers in. I reluctantly removed a star for that. I feel bad because there are very nice people working there, way better than average. We see how they do next visit.

I would recommend this restaurant if you want a clean and casual place to eat. Definitely a T-shirt and jeans place not a shirt and tie place. I usually tip 25 percent. Service is a big deal and these people have very hard jobs. Work with the public and you will gain a new respect for what these people put up with.

Because we waited 15 mins and had to ask for the bill we only tipped 15 percent. I think that's fair. We will see how it goes next time, I will definitely go back again.“

They make their vanilla and caramel for the lattes IN HOUSE. Don't pass up the vanilla latte! It's run by the sweetest family who are always positive as are their baristas.
