“We were hiking on the Sargeant Road Trail as part of our walk across the country, and it was the day before Labor Day so the only place to eat in Hudson that was open was the Federal Pub. So we decided to go there for pizza and beer, plus we called in advance and the bartender told us that they are hiker-friendly, would let us charge our devices and fill our waters. Cool! We had a good time chatting with the locals, the food was delicious, and it was nice that they served it with a complimentary bowl of snacks kind of like Chex mix. I like how they offer mini pitchers of beer (32oz) for $5. We had a nice time.”

“Don’t live in Cedar falls anymore but when we did this was definitely my favorite place to grab ice cream. They usually come you way more bang for your buck, and I actually think their ice cream is much more tastier then competitors like DQ plus it’s in a great area with a park across the street and a great scenic view of the river.”
