I know Hardee's in New Ulm MN has had some issues, but I went there today and was more than impressed! there were at least four people working there and they were so friendly and the food came really fast. it was fresh and hot and delicious! I can't wait to go there again, it looks like they have really pulled it together!
I've never physically been inside this location, or had a personal issue with staff in regard to customer service, which is why I'm giving a few stars for service/atmosphere....
Food quality on the other hand, no pass there. Even for fast food standards. I've lived in town 5 years and the food is never what I expect compared to the Carls Jr location I was previously near. Delicious Food!!
I ordered the bacon and cheese angus burger, it was juicy and hot. Fresh ingredients. High recommend!

Hardee's receives mixed reviews. Some customers find the food good, noting the chicken tenders are nice and crispy every time, and the raspberry iced tea is good. The frisco burger was decently fast, though a little dry on the edge. Others report the food is lacking, with gravy and biscuits not the same, and a smell of old fryer oil. Service is described as either friendly and happy, with great management, or the worst, with greasy floors and sticky surfaces. Fries were cold and the sandwich messy at times, with a 15-minute wait even when empty. Dietary restrictions can be accommodated with a lettuce wrap or no salt on fries. Parking is normally very open in the front and back.
