“Today I stopped in with my 8th grade softball team. I think it was Taylor (one of my girls thought she read that) she was working by herself and she did absolutely amazing! She took care of all 17 girls and 2 coaches. She was very polite and calm. That many orders she handled it very well. It’s always fun to stop by after playing and get a nice cold treat! :)“

“We live on the north side of Des Moines & this is the ONLY Dairy Queen we go too. Altoona & Ankeny both don't come close to comparing to this one. We went again today & everything was perfect. Hot food and friendly employees, don't get any better then that. Thanks to everyone who works here & the Owner. GOOD JOB😁“

“The soft-serve is pretty good. My only (very juvenile) complaint is the lack of toppings but I guess if the ice cream is good, you don't have to pile candy onto them. Didn't know they served food until we came in last weekend. Looks like there are separate counters depending on what you want to order. Limited seating. This is one of my required stops when passing through Carlisle 😊“

“Cute little place to stop. Takes you back in time to an old candy store with ice cream sundaes, floats & more. Lots of fun candy to look at. Places to sit inside and a bench outside. We went at the end of the day so they were out of two different ice cream flavors. We took our kids and they thought it was neat. If you are looking for “something different” or get the “we’re bored”, give this a try.
Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly as in there is lots to look at. If they struggle with touching everything, maybe not ?. The bar stools next to the ice cream freezer are high, so more for 6+ year olds without supervision.“
