This place was surprisingly good. The chicken melt was amazing and the bread was crispy. The adjacent coffee shop has a variety of lattes and the vibes are great to hang out as well as do work at. Would totally come back to this place. The current photos of the food do not do it justice.

I got a 24 oz salad on doordash and I was so disappointed when I got my delivery because of how small it was even though I got a full salad bowl. When I weighed it, it was only 17.5 oz. Rip off

I've visited Heirloom Salad Company many times over the years. For dining in and meeting with friends, there are plenty of seating options. The soups and salads are delicious. Service is fast and friendly. Having a shared space with Java House is a bonus for delicious coffee.

Way better version of Panera!!! Cannot miss with their menu & the quality of ingredients used. Highly recommend for those looking for a sandwich/salad

This has been our favorite place for a quick sandwich or salad for years. So it's hard to write this. We had a bad experience. We witnessed a group of young boys licking a plastic knife and putting it back in the dispenser. We notified the staff who did the right thing and threw away about 200 plastic utensils to be safe. We recommend keeping utensils behind the counter and we recommend no minors without parents. Just a word of caution for other patrons.

Abysmal...all of it was tasteless and inedible. Two sandwiches, soups and one salad, a chocolate chip cookie bar. Ended up throwing most of it away. $55 in the trash

Heirloom tomato has gotten ridiculously over priced over the last couple of years. I used to love to get their Cobb salad. If you are a fan of Cobb salads, you know that they always come standard with grilled chicken and avocado. It’s part of being a Cobb salad. However, at Heirloom, they now charge you extra for both the chicken and the avocado. That’s like ordering a BLT and having to pay extra for the bacon. A large salad has a starting price now of $11.29. Add another $2.89 for the grilled chicken and $.89 for the avocado, and it costs over $15 before tax to get a complete Cobb salad. Keep in mind, this is a self-serve restaurant, much like Panera, not a sit-down restaurant. Also, their portion sizes have decreased significantly over the last couple of years. They still have great soup so that is all I get now.

My salad was delicious but my companion found a long blonde hair in hers.

This place is close to my home and work and I think most of their salads are delicious. The problem I have is that when I order for pick up using their app, there is almost always something missing from my salad. I don't discover the problem until I'm back at work or home with my carryout order. Often, it's the chicken, but sometimes it's the egg or bacon. I usually get the Iowa Cobb. The last three times I've ordered, it was missing chicken, then bacon, then chicken again. If I actually get all of the ingredients on the salad, it's great. I just can't count on it. At this point, I'm pretty fed up and will probably minimize my visits to HSC.

My kids were excited about "building" their own salad when we ordered online. And then they ATE IT. Enough said. 5 stars.
