Just a classic. I come here every time I’m in town. Grilled cheese and they don’t over complicate anything. I think they’ve perfected a simply delightful sandwich. They also have a stand serving food on the pedestrian mall. Definitely a late night destination for most.

Marco's is a cool spot in Iowa City but the portions are pretty bad. Food for two people costs upwards of $30, and it is not a lot of food whatsoever. However, the service has always been okay and the workers are pretty friendly.

2am…. Marco’s was magical. The moment I walked in, the Christmas decorations made me feel like I was home for Christmas at my parent’s house. I’m a U of I student and I miss home around the holidays. I ordered a bacon macaroni and cheese. It was PERFECT. Before leaving, I went to the counter and told the lady that put love into my food how great she was. She told me the whole team made my experience at Marcos’s great. Great staff = excellent food ❤️
