Food was good everyone loved their meal. However, unfortunately the hot sauce was sadly depressingly warm and un refrigerated making this meal under 5

The atmosphere is OK. I think it would be a lot better if they put in new booths. great place to eat home cooking.

Nice locally owned place. Good food, nice servers, quick service, nice decor, plenty of parking. However, you may wish to check prices before you go. For example: a Fish Sandwich is now $14.49, plus tax and tip equals over $17.00! With that, we are now seeking restaurants that have lunch specials, and there's lots of them. They also have some lunch specials, but not every one wants they're particular choices.

This place looks like a "regulars pit stop" in Iowa City. The people here seemed to be relaxed and I saw one couple who didn't even open the menu, they knew what they wanted, lol. Good sign! I ordered a baked whitefish dinner, which came with a side salad, roll, choice of potato (I ordered baked), and a vegetable, (broccoli). All was great! The hubby ordered a chef's salad, which he enjoyed very much. Both of us were stuffed when we left. They also offered dessert, but we just had no more room, lol. Good value for the money, and I would recommend checking them out if you are Iowa City.
