We were passing through on a day trip back home. Great customer service and food! The guy taking orders was super friendly and asking everyone how their day was going. The Mac and cheese was phenomenal, sweet potato fries were the right amount of crisp, and burnt end sandwich hit the spot!
The ribs at Pop's BBQ are the best I've had in the Iowa City area. I've been a big fan of Pop's for several years, and it seems like they just keep getting better.
This was on my “must try before I graduate” list and I’ll definitely being trying many more times before I leave Iowa City. Amazing pulled pork sandwich - I’m kinda picky when it comes to my pulled pork but you nailed it. Flakey, tastey and the portion was generous!!
