What a treat. It is to be a musician, And be invited to perform at this fine facility, The experience it's what you think of and want as a musician. Place dedicated to music and create food, that makes your mouth water from smelling it. Hands down the best Smoked brisket I have ever ever had! It's out of this world. Everything you serve is amazing, The coleslaw is exquisite.

Had a wonderful retirement party at Wildwood. They were very accommodating and the food was delicious! The best wings and pulled pork! Great atmosphere! Check it out!
Best bbq in Iowa. Free water. Free parking. Seen many great concerts here. If i had a complaint. There is not much seating, unless you get a table. And not much cell service.

Based on the reviews, Wildwood Iowa City offers a nice atmosphere with live music and good sightlines of the stage, though the sound system could be improved. The food is described as above average, reasonably priced, and fantastic. Popular menu items include the best pulled pork and brisket in IC, brisket burnt ends, and surprisingly good tacos. A two meat platter with pulled pork, brisket, baked beans, and corn nuggets is available, with an upcharge for brisket and corn nuggets. The cheese curds appetizer are phenomenal, fluffy with a cheese taste. The restaurant also serves as an amazing wedding venue with accommodating management. The venue has a floorplan that allows for interactions with the kitchen staff and a laid back, nostalgic atmosphere. Seating on the first floor is barstool height, with the second floor only accessible by stairs. Parking is plenty on non-event nights. The restaurant is not recommended for children on busy nights, and wheelchair accessibility is limited. A suggestion was made to add sweet potato fries to the menu.
