Came to Iowa city for a doctor visit, came by myself today to try the food as I've been missing home. I am Laotian and it's hard to find good Thai and Lao food in my area. Got the Chicken egg rolls, very good, extremely crispy, dipping sauce is authentic. Also got the Papaya salad, Beef laap and beef pad see ew with sticky rice and a Thai iced tea and that was all pretty good as well especially the Thai tea, very rich and sweet. I mistakenly ordered from here because this restaurant has the same name as another Thai restaurant in Iowa City. They are no longer owned by the same people. So don’t make the same mistake I did. I ordered the Tom Yum soup, which was pretty good, but not the same as the OG restaurant with the same name. It came with fried tofu, when I just wanted soft tofu. The food was good, but please consider changing the name of this restaurant. Have your own unique identity.
