This is a very busy restaurant. Parking is a challenge on Friday evening. But the pizza was worth it. The pizza choices are unique and very tasty. They even have gluten-free options. It took a while to get our pizzas, and the grandchildren had a hard time waiting for their food. To me, it was worth waiting for.

I can't think of anything to say other then you need to stop there and try the Hawaiian pineapple pizza , it's a must have along with the deep fried onions

The owner and wife are AWESOME you get met at the door with a smile also the service itself is family friendly and the rest of the staff are Amazing.

This is the place to get Chicago Deep Dish but skip the trip to Chicago. It's wonderful and love having a local option for a great deep dish pizza. We have ordered many times and each were fantastic.

The staff are very welcoming and attentive. I moved to Texas and when I return to visit, we always go back to Wig and Pen in Iowa City. I highly recommend the Union Jack pizza made Flying Tomato style.

An Iowa City classic! Delicious pasta and pizza, plus some pub favorites. I recently ordered a calzone and wasn't blown away. But other times I have gone, I've gotten pizza and it is Awesome! Atmosphere is great. Service was exceptional. It's a must-go for locals and visitors alike.

If you’re looking for consistently great pizza and genuinely warm service, Wig and Pen delivers every time. The ladies who answered the phone were absolute dolls—so friendly and welcoming from the first call. When I arrived to pick up my pizza, I was greeted right away and helped promptly at checkout with the same upbeat attitude.
And the pizza? Scrumptious as usual. Perfectly cooked, flavorful, and exactly what I was craving. Great food and even better customer service—Wig and Pen for the win!

I cannot recommend this pizza highly enough. We thought it was delicious! We got one gluten-free pizza and one regular pizza. Everyone agreed it was fantastic. It arrived to our destination piping hot!
