We moved to Des Moines a little over a year ago and of course you start the search for the best pizza in the area. Pagliai's has become that place for us whether it's take out or dine in its the only place we get pizza amore. But don't forget their Italian dishes and sandwiches. You can't go wrong!
Pagliai’s is our go to 3-4 times a month. We have always had great food and service until tonight. From the time we walked in tonight, something was off. We waited over 5 minutes before anyone talked to us to seat us. We then were seated and sat and waited again. People who came in after us had drinks before anyone stopped at our table. I typically get take-out or delivery from the Johnston location and each experience has been great. I grew up eating Pagliai’s and it’s still one of my favorite pizza places. The staff at this location is always very nice and the pizza never disappoints. My go-to is double beef with mushroom dipped in liquid gold!✨
