Nothing caps off a day of climbing like a protein shake from the health house... or a pizza if I'm feeling frisky

This is a very different restaurant than advertised. Now a pizza joint where you can order smoothies if you want. Be warned the smoothies take forever if you, like us, just saw this advertised and thought it would be a quick stop on your drive. And the smoothies were *awful* basically an ice cream scoop of coconut oil.

I chose the Health House to meet an out of town friend for lunch because I had a good experience there pre-Covid. And the online menu touts that you could still build a healthy bowl or salad or wrap with your choices of ingredients. Well, I was very disappointed and embarrassed that I took my friend there. If you want to eat good (and I emphasize that word) healthy food, don't go there. I'm sure the pizza that they now mostly serve is fine but that's not what we wanted. There were about 4 salad choices , and so we chose the Mediterranean one that starts with a "super blend salad mix" ( just plain romaine) that came topped with a very small amount of very diced tomatoes and red onion, plus some funky white cheese that wasn't really recognizable. The grilled chicken was the only decent element and was a big flat seasoned chicken breast. For $12+ it was a very over-rated, underwhelming, over-priced salad. I get it that you changed your approach by making it a pizza place but for Pete's sake, update your website to reflect what you actually serve. And try to make your salad a bit more exciting and worthwhile.

The pizza place next door took over and reduced the menu to shakes and a few salads without the same vegetarian protein options—no wraps or any else.The pizza place is great for what it is—just not the place I’d go looking for health food.

Health house is no longer health house… It is now a pizza joint. Apparently the restaurant is still there, and the employees will tell you come this way for health house, but their menu pretty much has pizza on it. Not as advertised.

Pizza is very tasty. Best in Iowa. What I love about it is that pizza taste amazing even when it is cold. Staff are friendly and always nice to me when I come there. They have all kinds of options there including vegetarian. Recommended!

The serving sizes are very small and child like. I don’t know how they could make the smoothie so bad but it tasted like water with chunks.

Their website shows a lot more healthy options than they actually serve! I was excited to get an ahi tuna bowl to sit and watch my friends eat while i had no options of food.
It's not in operation which is what the 1 star is for. The pizza place it's attached to was very good, big slices, and the employee who helped me was kind and relatable. If it opens again, I will definitely change the star rating to fit the food, two free stars for the nice help.

I had the best protein shake I have EVER had and I am anxious to go back many times to try each one! I only gave it a 4-star because the waiter messed up our orders and gave us chicken on the salads when we didn't want it, but he was young, kind and still did a good job.

You should mention your currently closed! Visiting town and Health House looked appealing. Unfortunately only Taste of NY Pizza (in the same location) has an available menu and HH smoothies. I asked the employees and they didn't know when they'll reopen. I checked Yelp and FB before committing to it, so frustrating!
