“I ordered the Scalloped Potatoes and Ham. I thought that was cornbread but it was mandarin orange quick bread. In the bowl is applesauce. All of it was delicious. With a can of Diet Pepsi the bill was just under $10.I don't live in Clarence but I'll make a point of stopping there on the way to other places.They have a very limited menu but I like that. “We decided to go to the Pub Club in Lost Nation Saturday night for dinner. Good pick. The restaurant was very clean and well kept. I had the large peel and eat shrimp and my husband had their famous broasted chicken. In our opinions, our meal could not have been better. Our server was just great. Friendly and very attentive. I have a feeling we will be going to the pub Club more often.Kid-friendliness: There were children there and it seemed not be a problem.Parking: Plenty of free street parkingWheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is on one level. I know for a fact that wheelchairs are an easy access. There was a gentleman in a wheelchair having dinner at one of the tables. He had no problem getting around.”

“While visiting family in the Davenport, IA. area we were invited to The Pub Club in Lost Nation, IA. For starters this small community is way off the beaten path. It is a destination, not someplace you are likely to drive by. The Pub Club is rather "shabby" on the outside and the interior is anything but "fancy". But if you can get by that the food was very good. Friday and Saturday they have Prime Rib dinner that includes soup, salad, and desert. The 12 oz. Prime Rib I had was perfect. Cooked to a true Medium-Rare, nicely marbled, and seasoned just right. It is a simple, small town, down home cooking.”

“I had chicken bacon ranch wrap which was very good and husband had bacon cheeseburger, also good. I liked the if you pay with cash instead of cards (usually 3%)to avoid card fees, desperados pays the sales tax which is 7%. More businesses should adopt this!”

“Stopped in for a sandwich. Nice, clean small town bar and grill. Bar tender was on top of everything. Quick service, reasonable prices and a tasty grilled tenderloin. The waffle fries were good, could have used more seasoning but everyone is different. Will be back for the shrimp special on the first Saturday of the month!”

“I always tell everyone they HAVE to have their cheeseburgers, well all burgers on the menu are. But then again, so is everything else on the menu. Thet ARE the BOMB.They aim to please.However, they are open 4 PM- 9 PM. Wednesday - Sunday. Small town quaint place. Good service ,friendly staff, clean establishment, and welcoming atmosphere. “Best bog ever. The owner actually cares and puts a lot of work into this. Super friendly. From garden tractor pulls, to a slip and slide, always has something for the kids to do. Adult drinks and a food menu. Camping large parking lot. Well organized. I wish there were more places like this to play at.”
