“Nice small town bar. Clean. Pool league plays there. They do have food, I haven't eaten there yet. What I've seen looks good. They also have Frozen Pizza. I wouldn't have a problem eating here.”
“Ice cream is very good and the owner is very kind! Inside is nicely decorated. Nice to finally have ice cream in anamosa. They also get new flavors occasionally.”
“A very nice restaurant and bar. Super friendly staff as well as patrons. I eat hardely and i was stuffed with the special, which was a giant tenderloin and i had fries which i couldnt finish. Money well spent in my book. Very relaxed atmosphere, actually ran into a cpl friends. This place has always had an excellent rep. Which is well deserved in my opinion.Parking: Plenty of parking many spaces can be veiwed by restaurant windows, i had no problem with the lighting but i recall it being soft on the eyes. Why waste money on unneeded lights which would pass costs onto the cust.. haste not wasteWheelchair accessibility: No steps that i can recall, very flat level ground.”
“Visited from out of state. Nice variety, good food, reasonable prices. Thank you!Kid-friendliness: My 6 year old grandson enjoyed his meal as well, nice kid selection.”
“The chicken good, the pie is good! The patrons are welcoming and friendly towards visitors. The Bar tender lady is wonderful.Ample car parking is close by and truckers can walk < 7 minutes from Sunspot fuel station.”
“OH. EM. EFFING. GEE. You GUYSSSSSS. We’re from Wisconsin. Came down to lovely Anamosa to see some friends tomorrow, and we asked them where we should go for supper in a “bar like” atmosphere. And there was ZERO question… Tucker’s Tavern. And let me just share this:.. #1. Jessica is the BOMB EFFING DIGGITY. #2. Your thin crust pizza is MIND BLOWING. #3. You need to open an establishment in Bloomer, WI!For real. Amazing! Hands down!”
“Wonderful place to eat for a small town. I highly recommend this place great food, great service. Very nice and welcoming staff they make u feel comfortable. Definitely will be going back again!!”
“I ordered the Scalloped Potatoes and Ham. I thought that was cornbread but it was mandarin orange quick bread. In the bowl is applesauce. All of it was delicious. With a can of Diet Pepsi the bill was just under $10.I don't live in Clarence but I'll make a point of stopping there on the way to other places. They have a very limited menu but I like that. Check their Facebook page to see what they are serving.”
“This establishment's name is descriptive of the offerings, many coffees and delicious baked goods.Spacious, relatively quiet comfortable dining room, no table service, order and pick up at counter.Prompt friendly service.Prices are moderate and consistent with quality, facility, menu and location.Parking is free but limited to available on street space.”
“Demeter's is the best! Great treats, great atmosphere, great vibe. Go get some of the best cheesecake around and check out the historic space. 10/10 recommend.”
“I ? v Mexican food and I have to say that Porfirio's has amazing authentic Mexican. We live in Marion and Porfirio's is in Anamosa but so worth the drive ???”
“Ended up in this place for the first time today and I am definitely coming back.Service was great for eating in and staff was very friendly, especially with my 1 year old and 4 year old.I got the Crab Rangoon pizza and that is to die for. Also got the chicken Alfredo bowl, very cheesy, very good! Chicken tastes good, doesn’t taste frozen! My girlfriend got the Chicken Alfredo pizza and she loved her pizza as well.Sauce is creamy, chicken is awesome, and the cheese tastes very good. She also got the breadsticks. Hot and good, just a little on the salty side for me, but she loved them. My son got the boneless chicken wings which smelled and looked amazing. He gives the thumbs up approval for everything. This place is definitely worth it because of the food and the prices! Here locally, it’s better than Casey’s pizza and God Father’s pizza. Buy local, because this place is worth every penny!Parking: Two line front spots and I believe they have side parking next to the building as well.Kid-friendliness: My kids were running around the little dine in area while waiting for our food, and the staff ensured us they don’t mind. Keeping them entertained, same with the guests.”
“I ordered the shrimp basket and my husband ordered the brisket sandwich special. Both were delicious. I got 10 large shrimp and tons of fries. Our waitress was very friendly, checked back on us a couple times, service was excellent. Picture is what I had leftover from my $14 basket.”
“This place is owned & run by a sweet gal, Lana, who really knows how to cook great food. She makes you feel right at home and loves talking with her visitors. By the time you leave, you'll be feeling like you just finished eating and visiting with you favorite aunt, grandma, or mom. What a pleasant surprise this turned out to be. The building isn't too much to look at on the outside, but it's cozy and welcoming. We ordered the pork tenderloins and they were THE BEST we've ever had. BAR NONE!Hand cut from a local butcher shop, hand breaded and fried to perfection. Not greasy or fatty. Crunchy on the outside and moist in the middle.By the time we were done eating them, we had no room left for the Brownie Sundaes. The brownies were freshly made too.Great food, great prices, and super nice owner!Definitely coming back and definitely recommending Aunt B's Onslow Cafe.***- Sorry there aren't pictures of the tenderloins. As good as they looked, forgot to take pictures.”
“Incredible. I got a sirloin with mashed potatoes and a couple of beers and cheesecake for dessert. It was a little pricey but well worth it. My family and I will be back.”
“Great waitress and good food. Bartender wasn't attentive to everyone. She was drinking and made me a horrible mixed drink. Had it remade and wasn't any better. The drink was quite lacking in alcohol, like the gin was watered down.”
“Awesome bar never been to before and lived here for 30 years don't know how I missed it definitely going back food looked wonderful didn't eat just had a beer and had to go!”
“Friendly Staff, greeting with a smile, good food, drink specials ? ?Wheelchair accessibility: Front door & back patio (2 listen to summertime bands) wheel chair accessibility ♿️ as well as bathrooms too.”
“Good buffet and clean restaurant. Chinese buffets are harder to find after Covid when only big box store were allowed to operate. Glad to find a good one. Waitress was very nice.”
“I like coming here. I come here weekly as I work in town. They just re did the inside and it looks great. The staff is always friendly. My only complaint it that if you ask for extra veggies they barely put any on.for example if I ask for extra pickels one guy will say I'm only supposed to give you 3 pickles. And so if you ask they may give you 5 slices. It just seems silly..I get there is a rule of thumb but if someone asks for extra we don't need to be so Dainty with it. It's a bit frustrating. There is one girl who wil actually give you extra if you ask for it but overall they could tell the staff that if someone asks for it to give it to them.”
“This place is my favorite McDonald's in the area. Facility is kept very clean, the self serve kiosk works, and the food is what you expect. Staff always seems friendly.”
“Had a great lunch with my son. The waiter was very attentive and helpfull. My son had the Wings and I had the Chicken Cordon Bleu sandwich. Very good flavor. I would highly recommend this family restaurant in Anamosa,Iowa!”
“Such a fun cool bar with history! Everybody knows your name type of feel with wonderful staff! Good food also! Recommend chicken bacon ranch pizza! Great place to stop while touring these small communities in northeast Iowa! Would be a nice motorcycle ride into town!”
