“A group of 8 of us from Nebraska and Iowa are in town for the 47th annual Yankee Dirt Classic. We chose this place on day 1 and haven’t even looked at other options in town because we all were very impressed! The portions are huge, the prices are right and the food is amazing! We have been there 3 days in a row now with Ally being our server and she is one of the best waitresses any of us have ever had! If you’re in Dyersville do yourself and favor and stop by the Dyersville Family Restaurant, you won’t be disappointed!!”

“We have never been here before and first time there. The place was very nice and lots of windows in the area. The bathrooms were nice and clean. The people were very nice and kind. The food was very good but a little greasy. We got the pizza pretzel. It was very big and we shared it and had leftovers. We also got the pizza with the little garlic on it. It was kid and family friendly. Atmosphere was 10 out of 10. Would definitely recommend going there again.”

“I was in town for work on a Friday evening and did their all you can eat fish fry. Sad at the bar, the bartender was super friendly! I controlled myself and only did two passes through the all you can eat. Would absolutely return if I'm in the area.”

“It was a long, slow wait for service and to get menu's orders in etc. If my fish would have been warm it would have been so delicious!! It was still tasty just would have been better a little warmer. Got a huge portion of fish and the sides were good. Staff was friendly and the prices were great!! We will definitely give it another try. Oh and the menu has alot of different items then you would expect on it.”

“The Ritz restaurant.... I don't recommend the Ritz after last night burnt burgers with nothing being done about it..... I would give them a zero rating for last nights order. I Ordered 4 sandwiches for supper plus onion rings. Costing $46.00 it is our 37th anniversary didn't want to cook. But 2 of the burgers were burnt to a crisp as you can see in pictures we couldn't even eat them. Called down an owner Dan started yelling saying I ordered them well done. He asked me how I wanted them I said done an he said med rare or well done. So I said done not pink so he said well done. I said sure. I called the Ritz to tell him how burnt it was an he said I ordered it well done. I told him not burnt an my kids couldn't eat them. He started yelled an said any restaurant you say done it will come out burnt like this. Then he proceeded to tell me to not come back. I said really that is how you treat your customers. Wow I don't usually complain about food but this was horrible....I told him I was going to say something about tonight's food an his response was even worse. He said you really think you can ruin my business. Really who talks to a customer like this..... If you look at comments an reviews an ask people it happens way to often that they burn the food beyond eating.”

“Great place to eat sometimes just maybe they need to work on paying attention. A little better on orders went through a couple times and wanted a deluxe cheeseburger and I only got pickles and a crap ton of mustard and ketchup, but I love the food. Love the place just only issue I have is just pay some of them just need to pay a little bit of attention”
