“This is a hidden gem located in Epworth, IA. You can tell a lot of time, care, and effort goes into making this place a special place within this community. The food was spectacular, and affordable, and the service was even better. Would go back here anytime I’m in town!10/10!”
“Hells to the yes - go here. The pizza ... yes. The cheese board.... Yes. Just go. You'll be happy with your decision. Cush man pizza was dope. The bacon ranch pizza was the BEST. Wine was good. No pictures today. Sorry.”
“This is hands down the best coffee in the dubuque area. Honestly this may be the best coffee in iowa. This is a great roasted bean. Tea, lattes, Italian sodas, and some fine breakfast creations. Stop here if you want some serious coffee. This isn't your bulk metallic tasting coffee like the other guys.Bravo ? and tipping is still classy.”
“Kind of an old building that hides the best burger on the planet. Pro tip order a 1/2 order of fries the portions are huge. Pearl is an amazing person and even her customers are great people.”
“5 star across the board. All roads don't lead to Coes but it's so good you'll find your way there. Went there after a golf trip to Peosta on a Sunday and all my mates where very impressed. No draft beer but they had an impressive selection. One of the few bars anymore that has Old Style..both light and regular Krausened goodness. A lady was tending bar (3/4 full) and was able to take care of them, our drinks, our food orders, AND cook the food as well. That was an impressive case of juggling. And the food..wide variety of options and obvious that inflation has not hit this establishment. I had a a Patty Melt, an order of onion rings, an order of fried mushrooms, and 3 beers and a mixed drink...$29..almost criminal. And the mixed drink came in a pint glass..supersize me! Fine dining?? Dont' be silly. But they do have $19 steaks which I am going to try and go back for.”
“The "Red Roof Diner" is one of my personal local favorites. The staff is friendly, efficient, and very attentive. The cost of the food is second only to the service, since I've never been able to finish my entire dish! It's all good, since I'm able to enjoy my well-made food again!”
“My Dad was hunting near Bernard at 3 Hills, I believe. Your cupcakes must've been for sale there and my parents brought some back for my daughter and I. I've had some cupcakes in my day, but that Salted Caramel was a religious experience ?? You easily have the best cupcakes we've ever eaten!”
“We stopped here for a quick bite and the hamburger was delicious, the service outstanding and it was very relaxing after a long drive. Easy on and off the highway.”
“Love the small town/hole in the the wall/dive bar atomsphere. You find a place like that, you will find good people and amazing food. I have never been disappointed.”
“We called and ordered a taco pizza from Mason last night. It was the best taco pizza we've ever had and we've had a lot ?. Mason did an excellent job from taking our order to making the pizza. Will only order if Mason is working in the future! Thanks Mason!!.”
“Having a coffee shop and a movie theater in the same building is very convenient and I would choose Mind frame over AMC (or whatever its called) anyday!!! The coffee is top notch!!”
“We drive 2 hrs and go to Dyersville every year for the National Farm toy Show. We like to find a place to eat in the area when we are done. So this year, I did some research and picked to go here. I was not disappointed. The wife and I both had the Philly beef sandwich it was great. Would recommend stopping in and checking it out.”
“COLD beer , great free locally grown popcorn, awesome pizza. also has outdoor area to enjoy your beer. If you can get by the guy near the door asking forty nunya questions , it will be worth your time to visit. and great bartenders !”
“Love this place! Great bar food (try the broasted chicken wings... they are the perfect mix of crispy, light, and juicy and the sauce is bomb. Especially the honey sriracha sauce...) Cold beer, smooth drinks, fair prices, great people, very relaxed and casual environment to hang out and make friends. Owner really cares about making this a place where people want to be!”
“Love this place. Love the aesthetic and the vibe. Good is good like always, and they had my favorite cider back. I was going to have a Reubens, but they ran out earlier.”
“What a wonderful throwback restaurant. It takes you back to supper clubs of the 50's and 60's. Great salad bar with lots of variety. They even had home-made cinnamon rolls and brownies. Our server (Laura-Laurie) was fantastic. My wife and I had the prime rib (excellent!). My sister had the filet mignon and her husband had the ribs. We were all very pleased with the entire experience!”
“Town Clock Pizza WONDERFUL!! It's the best pizza in the area. The service is terrific. Irene and her family take great care of guests and always remember you. The restaurant is spotless, the parking is convenient and the all around experience is wonderful!! They have a beautiful covered outdoor eating patio. They really do a fantastic job.”
“I got a footlong cold cut sub (I thought that's what I ordered). The sub was horrible, and the sauce they put on it was runny. I was shocked when I opened the sub. Most of the ingredients in the sub came out of it, and it was a runny mess, and I couldn't eat it. I paid extra for more ingredients, and their were no extra ingredients.I asked to wrap each 1/2 of the sub to be wrapped separately, and this was not done with the sub that was so awful. I haven't checked the Tuna sub yet, but it should be okay. I love your tuna sub.”
“I went through the drive-through ordered a blizzard and a pup cup. She asked if I had the app and I told her yes and she said she would scan it at the window. When I gave her the app to scan she said it was too late she had already cashed it out. And then she didn’t even give me a receipt so that I can go to the website and see if I could get my points.”
“The coffee, food, and service were impeccable. Talked with the owner for just a bit and she definitely made you feel like you were welcomed. This is now Rosie's coffee house, it has moved from Locals across the street. It's in an old bank and very nice.”
