“First timers: the food was very good, prepared well. Food we purchased: Cowboy Bob spicy but not too spicy. The burger was tender. The Brisco: similar to the frisco. The bread was toasted perfectly. Mac cheese: the Cheeto dust really gave it a great flavor Buffalo wings: great smoked flavor! We were not disappointed. The lady taking orders and cleaning tables was super sweet and helpful!”

“I ordered the jasmine tea along with a sushi and sashimi platter, which came with miso soup, plus a spicy yellowfin roll 🍵🍣. Overall, it was a pretty mixed experience. The sashimi was actually very good — fresh, clean-tasting, and nicely sliced. You could really appreciate the quality of the fish in those pieces 👍✨.
The sushi rice, however, was a bit disappointing. It tasted like it hadn’t been seasoned properly and seemed to rely more on plain starch rather than that balanced vinegar flavor you expect from good sushi. It just felt like it wasn’t fully finished or brought together the way it should be. The roll had decent flavor, but the rice affected the overall bite. Still, the sashimi and tea were enjoyable 😌🍵, though I hope they refine the rice preparation in the future.”

“I stopped at Lara’s yesterday for the first time, and was greeted with wonderful smells and beautiful smiles! The staff was very, very kind. I told one of the girls I’d never been in before, and she proceeded to show me everything on display. All of the yummy baked goods and pastries are huge, and the prices are very very reasonable! I left with 7 treats and only paid $9.50. Awesome quality, astounding service, a joy to have in Marshalltown!”

“I completely forgot to take pictures of the amazing cookies we got for our daughter's baby shower. The chocolate chip cookies are literally the best chocolate chip cookies we have ever had!!! (The monster and sugar cookies are also a 10/10 recommend!!). Michelle went the extra mile and also made an amazing,personalized monster cookie!!! “Lots of people, mostly younger crowd, always music and dance floor is hot, nice pool tables and big acarde area with lots of fun games. Sometimes service takes awhile and maybe they could use more bartenders during peek hours but the bartenders are always working hard and are cute so it makes up for it. Good vibes in general.”

“Fast and extremely friendly service! We come through the area once a year for a special event and we absolutely make sure we stop here. Peanut butter burger on pretzel bun snd one of the best breaded pork tenderloin ive ever had. Fried pickles are spoy on too!”

I ordered the Zeno’s Special pizza, and wow — it was absolutely outstanding 🍕🔥. The crust was just right, perfectly balanced — not too hard and not overly chewy. It had that ideal texture that makes every bite satisfying. The toppings were clearly fresh, and you could truly taste each individual ingredient. The vegetables had great flavor, and the meat was seasoned perfectly 😋✨. Every slice was packed with deliciousness. Definitely a pizza worth coming back for! 💯”

“Can't recommend Terri enough! She made two dozen adorable Halloween themed baby shower cookies, and they were delicious!! I've never had one of these decorative cookies that I actually thought tasted good, I honestly just thought you had to choose between eye catching and taste. But these were both! Beyond pleased, guests at the shower texted me after bringing them home to let me know how great they tasted. Highly recommend.”

“Authentic Mexican in Iowa? Who would have guessed! We live in Texas, where good street tacos are prized. Maria's are as good as any I've had at home or in Mexico City. The posole was flavorful, and husband said the burrito was five star. Homemade horchata was best I've had anywhere. Every time we come to Marshalltown for family, Maria's is a must stop. Don't expect a fancy restaurant. It's window service from an old house, and you eat at picnic tables on the enclosed front porch or outside. But every Texan knows the best Mexican food comes from a hole-in-the-wall joint.”

“Me and my friend walked in and met Calvin who led us to Rosie’s which is a dining area/bar within the bowling alley. Our breath was honestly taken away by how beautiful and clean it was in there. A speakeasy vibe and comfortable atmosphere. Our server Calvin was incredible and so nice, making sure we had everything we needed. We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip and it came with pita chips which I love, then we ordered the Olympian pizza… best pizza ever. Top 3 pizzas I’ve ever had. With that being said, food, service, atmosphere, 10/10 recommend.”

When I'm there I'm definitely getting fried rice, crab ragoon, seasame chicken, garlic green beans, broccoli from the broccoli chicken and the black pepper chicken. YUM!!”

“When this store first opened, I did not like it as much as the older Little Caesar's in the K-mart. It seemed like they skimped a bit on the sauce and cheese. After the K-mart closed, this store is the only option so I would still occasionally get pizzas there, but never with much enthusiasm.Fortunately, this store has really seemed to turn around! The last few orders I have placed, always for a custom pizza and not a hot-n-ready pizza, have been excellent.Keep making the pizzas great and I will keep coming back for more! Thanks!”

“This is the 2nd time we visited this branch. Not only is the food brought to you quickly it is prepared exactly like you request. This location is clean and has a cozy feel to it. The thing that sticks out the most is the fantastic warm and friendly service that we have gotten both times. We might live two hours away but we will return again. It hits all the buttons that we value in a restaraunt.”

Their egg rolls and General Tso Chicken are my favorites. The staff is also super nice, which makes the whole experience even better. Just good food and good people.”
