it was really good ice cream!!
I have worked at a lot of places where people need one good snack before they go home at night if you’re looking for a friendly service don’t go there right before close I understand everyone wants to go home but one scoop of ice cream is not worth the rudeness
Excellent homemade ice cream , definitely worth the attention it's gotten. Good flavor variety with a few more savory and unique. They offer flights if you want to try several flavors.

Birdsall's Ice Cream Co. is an old soda fountain style ice cream shop with an old-school malt shop vibe. It is a local favorite and *the* place to go for tasty ice cream in North Iowa. The variety of flavors is outstanding, including sweet corn, peach, pistachio, peanut butter, and London Fog. Hand crafted perfection is the standard. The peach ice cream with peach topping and pecans was phenomenal without artificial fruit flavor. A vanilla malt and a butterscotch malt are popular. A single scoop of dark chocolate w almonds was very good. Hosts are usually very quick to greet and service is good. Friendly fast staff. Not a lot of seating inside, but there is some additional seating outside. A super cute and fun statue is out front. No bathrooms to be found. A “large” 16 oz is $8. For $13 for a malt and a scoop, it is not cheap but pretty good. The option on the I pad for a tip is a bit of a turnoff.
