“They know how to treat customers! We were there recently near closing time and were still eating well after closing. We never felt like we were being rushed to leave as you would in many places. Someone was sweeping up, but he made sure he wasn't near our table. A pet peeve of mine is staff sweeping next to our table while we are eating. Our server took very good care of us with a smile on his face. The food was very good and the portions were large.“

“I know Hardee's in New Ulm MN has had some issues, but I went there today and was more than impressed! there were at least four people working there and they were so friendly and the food came really fast. it was fresh and hot and delicious! I can't wait to go there again, it looks like they have really pulled it together!“

“We had a huge group after a basketball game & the staff was absolutely incredible! The young man that was at the counter was so professional and acted so kind to each child and adult. We got there 30 minutes before they closed the dining area. (No other fast food restaurant is open in our area at that time to accommodate such a large group) They didn’t make us feel like a burden. Very thankful!“

“My husband and I had a mid-afternoon lunch on December 12th, 2025 at the Wendy's in Mason City. We were welcomed when we entered the restaurant by a friendly worker at the counter. He smiled and was so positive in his demeanor. The food was hot and very tasty. I hadn't had a cup of Wendy's chili in years and it was so delicious! We were thanked by this same worker when we finished our meal. It was an inexpensive meal and we didn't wait long at all to get our food. We vowed we would return when we are in Mason City again. Customer service like this isn't always available and we were most pleased.“

The one complaint I would have is Applebee's in general are not set up for large groups (anything over 8 people). They try to accommodate but it is awkward.“
