All the food was good. Two had an omelette, husband had “the Dan” which was hash browns with gravy and eggs on top with toast. I had the treasure chest. Hash browns piled up with cheese, biscuits, gravy sausage and eggs. The gravy was really good. Our waitress wasn’t that great but they were very busy for such a small cafe so I let it slide.

Note: we came here for a late-ish lunch on a Saturday and were a bit surprised to find McGregor not awash with tourists. I can't say whether this review would have been affected had things been busier.Came here as we didn't have easy access to our planned lunch spot in Guttenberg (car show on the main drag clogged things up). In light of current health concerns, we are inclined to either order carry out or sit outside. Since the early leaf-peeper season had beautiful weather, we decided outside would be the thing this trip. Parking in downtown McGregor can be a bit of a challenge, but we found a spot. We sat right by the door outside, in the shade, next to lovely flowers that hummingbirds visited while we were there.
