“The small town of Barnes City, Iowa is fortunate to have the continuance of both the Tavern and a restaurant. The bartenders are customer service oriented. Especially, during busy times and big events. It’s worth a stop if you are in the area. You can’t beat the food, prices or cold drinks.“

“My husband and I came to Sadie Jane's this evening for our first visit. Tom ordered a small chocolate shake and I ordered a small Reece's Peanut Butter Cup Humdinger. Oh my...these small sizes were so big and very economically priced! Our ice cream desserts were awesome and the help was very friendly. We enjoyed sitting on the bench beside Sadie Jane's. Yes, we will be back again soon!“
