“I stopped in for an impromptu visit to the lake. I was greeted by a man who a young man called grandpa. They had to find grandma so we could find out if they had room. The whole time I'm standing here I can't wait to pay for a room here. I'm feeling all nostalgic, the foods smelling great. the place is clean you can tell from the lobby. Grandma is located and I check in. I felt at home the minute we walked in the lobby but the room was even cozier. if you're looking for fancy this ain't the place, but if your looking for a homey clean place to stay. it's the one! we will be back C&D Thank you for all your hospitality!”

“Wish I would have taken pictures... WOW!!! I ordered the sirloin and the wife ordered the ribeye. The sirloin was the size of the plate. The ribeye was huge also and thick. They were cooked perfectly and tasted awesome!!!! You get a salad bar but if you eat anything before the steak you won't be able to eat much else. Come hungry and bring a friend. Definitely will return.”

“Drove the 20 miles from here, since all eateries, except big boxers, are closed on Monday. Ordered quesadilla grande and my friend ordered nachos grande. Everything was pretty close to perfect and have to just say if you drive around or though Albia and don't stop and at least check it out...well you just missed one of those "Life opportunities"! ?”
