“Breakfast was absolutely delicious! I wish I could sit outside on the upper deck, relax with a beautiful view of the river and drink your Apple-chai-der all day.”

“We had been wanting to come here for a while and were glad we did. They have a great speakeasy vibe,Extensive beer selection and the food was great. We had the crab cakes as well as a shrimp basket and a pizza. My husband had a sour and I had a stout. Then we split a decadent bottle of an apple flavored mead. Amy was an amazing server/bartender! I watched her pour a perfect dirty Martini for another guest. We will be back soon.”

“Came in Saturday night there were two party buses very crowded but still was able to get a drink pretty fast great staff cheap drinks. There were a couple of guys playing pool causing trouble saw a guy push and hit a lady with a pool stick, I also was threaten to be killed but that wasn’t stoping me from 2.50 tall boys. Over all I’d definitely come back everyone else was welcoming and having a great time!”
“We fell in love with Red Barn Campground three years ago when we came up to stay while running the Driftless 5K. We have been back every year since then. The sites are clean and right on a trout stream. The bar has great food and cold drinks and the owners are so nice and make you feel so welcome. Same goes for the hard working staff. They were hopping on a Friday night game night. The bartenders cranked out the drinks and the two cooks in the back worked their butts off cranking out the food as well. We enjoy coming up to the bar to watch the Hawkeye games as usually the crowd gets into it and it's just a fun time. I would highly recommend Red Barn Campground!”

“There ain’t much not to like about The Bright Spot. It felt like family from the moment I walked in the door. A place where my grandpa and grandma would have gone Nothing right fancy but the bar made me feel like I was back in the 40’s. The onion rings had a nice light batter that worked well with the onion rings. Cheryl had the fish sandwich that looked mighty fine while I had myself a perfectly prepared BLT with a perfect Amy of bacon and tomato. It went down perfect with my PBR and Cheryl said her Leini was right good.”

“We've been to skinny dip for a motorcycle cruise and also to bring our puppy to socialize. Both times we had great experiences! Great prices and portions are huge!! Staff is extremely nice and always have smiles on! Highly recommend!”

“Great bar/grill. Our engaging waitress Chloé was most accommodating despite being understaffed. She was expected to singlely wait on everyone, clean tables and handle billing. We ordered the fish wrap and the steak sandwich with fries. Kudos to the chef plated to perfection. Chloe definitely deserves a huge raise and huge tips! Dennis Kluesner - Joyce Gibbs (author)”
