“A favorite place to stop for ice cream or even a bite to eat. Our grandkids love going there. My favorite is a black raspberry milk shake. Staff is always very friendly and the place is always clean. Options to eat outside if the weather is nice which we enjoy. It does appear there is an extra charge if paying by card as my card is always charged more than the bill.”

Kid-friendliness: Our grandchildren love coming to Short Stop!It has become a family tradition.Our one grandson loves their cheeseballs!All of them love the ice cream treats!Our granddaughter loves their cheeseburger & fries.They love sitting out in the swing or at the patio tables, besides loving to sit in the coziness of the dining area inside.They loved the pretty plants and the hand pump that use to automatically dump water into a little bucket. They miss that a lot as it has not been working.”

“Super nice atmosphere but they don't have decaf coffee, which is perfectly fine for most people, but I need my decaf. They do have something called a frothed, which is basically just hot, frothed milk with flavoring, which was nice. I did enjoy my time there though.”

“The French dip was the best I've ever had. The sweet potato tatertots were perfect as well. Service was great. Food was quick to arrive. There were 6 people at our table, everyone was happy. We will all definitely return. What an asset to have to the community.”

“My husband and I with our four kids ate there tonight. It was very good. They kept a good eye on when food needed refilled. The cowboy walking around giving stickers to my kids was a nice touch. They loved it. The thing that really impressed me the most was the general manager, Jeff. When I asked if there was butter on the noodles he informed me there was butter but then offered to make my son( who is allergic to cows milk) some fresh noodles with no butter. He also brought out the allergen book to look and make sure their Mariana sauce didn’t have cheese in it. The restaurant was clean, very busy, and we didn’t have a problem with people coming to collect our dirty plates. We will be back to eat there again.”

“Danielle the pharmacist is amazing. She ran the pharmacy with only one other worker there today and they killed it. And she had a smile on her face the whole time. Wonderful, wonderful staff 12/10 stars!!!”

“Quick, polite lady at drive thru. All good. Only thing was lil bummed on the new chicken nuggets, I thought they would have some kind of crispy coating, ours were not at all. But flavor was fine, just pricey for what we got. Biscuits great as always.”

“It's been years since I've been able to find a Hardee's and once I found one on a trip to Iowa it's the first place I stopped going into Mount Pleasant! The Frisco burger is exactly how I remember it!!! So delicious! My husband and son got the mushroom ans Swiss burger which also is just as good as they remember!! We need a Hardee's in Cheyenne Wyoming!!!”

“KFC in Mount Pleasant is doing well! The atmosphere here is usually light and the people are usually polite. They are definitely doing better than McDonald’s across the street. People seem to be coming here more than McDonald’s now. The drive thru and dining room is pretty quick in service even though they sometimes have less help. If you want better service than McDonald’s look no farther than KFC across the street :)”

“If I may say the staff at the Mount Pleasant location need to be evaluated. The lady that took my order wasn’t helpful didn’t ask what sauce I would like with my jalapeño poppers. When I picked up my order again I had to ask for my bronco berry sauce and I asked if my sandwich was correct double Arby’s with cheddar. She assured me it was correct. When I got in the semi sadly no cheese or sauce or onion bun. Disheartening when this is my evening meal for the day! The staff should take more pride in helping the customer because without the customer they wouldn’t have a job! Have a blessed day!”

“Great food. The curb side between 2 and 3 in the afternoon has been bad. The wait times for curbside have been 10 - 20 minutes. They get the order wrong almost half the time. Other hours are fast and accurate.”
