“We were staying in Newton while visiting relatives nearby and looking for a sports bar to watch my baseball team play. Our bartender was eager to find our favorite drinks but they did not have a wine selection other than a box of red which I don't drink but I came up with an alternative. Locals were friendly and engaging! Had a great time!“

That Monday experience you had witnessing the table of employees was definitely not what you thought it was. This was their boss Jeff Conn and a year ago that night he passed away. It was a celebration of life. All employees at that table were off shift except the bartender. It might have looked as if they had crew shirts on but they were Okoboji shirts to honor Jeff Conn.
Just as everyone else they were enjoying their time at a restaurant and having fun reminiscing on Jeff and remembering all things good.
I'm sorry for the experience you had but truly don't judge a book by its cover.“

“I am so glad we went with BAQARA for our wedding day!
