“We had a party of 15 for dinner Saturday evening and was a first for most. Everyone had only wonderful things to say about everything from the service, food and especially the staff. Very friendly and always a smile on there face, even when we walked out 1 1/2 hours after closing!! 😳. Thank you for a great 60th birthday celebration!!”
“Worth Brewing is a great little brewery in downtown Northwood IA. Looks like an old bank inside with pieces of buildings from around the old city. They had 13 beers on for my stop including a helles, brown, a Belgian white, Bavarian wheat, American IPA, cream ale, fruited cream ale, fruit beer, coffee stout, oktoberfest, black IPA, Czech pils, and a very good scotch ale. The patrons and the staff were really friendly. I will definitely stop back if I find myself back in the area.”

“This is my son's favorite place to go! We always, both of us, get the tuna. Say what ypu want, we both love the tuna. This specific time we both wanted to try the new subs. He ordered the boss, how it was made, no substitutes. I ordered the nacho steak and cheese, no substitution. He inhaled his lol I don't even think he tasted it LOL! Mine, it came with some garlic sauce, that i don't recommend. It was over powering and I didn't finish my sandwhich. Other than that, it was delicious. Just a very saucy sub.
We will both be back. And we'll get the tuna again lol”

“Me and my grandparents stop here for lunch on our yearly trip to Des Moines Iowa. The food is decent and the staff are friendly. After a while though the noise of the casino and the cigarette smoke and smell gets to you. I recommend ordering your food and then eating it outside at the rest stop across the parking lot.”

“Ambience and service was great, but my ribeye had gristle and was tough. The other two meals served at our table (lamb and surf & turf) were good. Service was excellent.”

“This store is short staffed. However, with the attitude and demeanor of the staff, you would never know it. I was here on layover for 2 days. I ate here four times. The staff was exceptionally great and always had a positive and upbeat attitude. They always apologized that their hours were limited and they did not serve breakfast because of staffing issues. The food was always hot and fresh. From being a general manager of my own stores in the food industry before becoming a truck driver. I can tell you, I would have given anything to have a staff as a great as this one in any one of my stores throughout Covid. I really hope their area managers and owners, if it is a franchise location, know how hard they are trying and the great job they are doing!! I pass through here all the time, up and down 35 at least 10 times a month and never stopped at this rest area. I definitely will make it a point to moving forward. Thanks guys. Keep up the amazing work!!”
“I've been patronizing this bar for three years now. I'm a hole in the wall bar type of person. I love this place. the bartenders are top notch and so friendly. it doesn't take them long at all to know you and your drink. customers are always friendly and quick with a joke or to laugh with you. I now stop for one beer on my way home from work each night (yes, sometimes more then one), and the bartenders always have my drink open and ready before I even sit down. can't recommend a better place!”
