“We visited the Phoenix area to attend the Senior Men’s Baseball World Series and on the way to a morning game - we found this place. It’s in a strip mall area south of the 202 on Dobson - easy to miss, but don’t ! It was a little later in the AM so it wasn’t’t too busy - we were seated right away. They have a nice collection of the usual breakfast items. We had French Toast and a Classic Breakfast (eggs, bacon, potatoes, and toast). The food was great and plenty of it ! Looking around the room - lots of locals - makes sense as it’s kinda hidden in this strip mall. The only thing keeping the Henhouse from the big 5 rating was the slow service. The server apologized several times along with someone who appeared to be a manager. Seems like they were short handed. This is still a great place for breakfast and hopefully the speed of getting that breakfast will be better next time !“
