Cafes in Northwood

“I didn't realize this was here until my last day here. However, I can say this is definitely a small cafe with a lot of heart cook up in their meals. Idk about anyone else, but I'd rather eat a small MA & PA cafe than a big chain restaurant any day. Especially after the pandemic. Thank you.

Dietary restrictions: I'm keto, so I don't eat carbs or sugar. I asked for no toast instead of an extra egg. She was very accommodating.“

“We visited the Phoenix area to attend the Senior Men’s Baseball World Series and on the way to a morning game - we found this place. It’s in a strip mall area south of the 202 on Dobson - easy to miss, but don’t ! It was a little later in the AM so it wasn’t’t too busy - we were seated right away. They have a nice collection of the usual breakfast items. We had French Toast and a Classic Breakfast (eggs, bacon, potatoes, and toast). The food was great and plenty of it ! Looking around the room - lots of locals - makes sense as it’s kinda hidden in this strip mall. The only thing keeping the Henhouse from the big 5 rating was the slow service. The server apologized several times along with someone who appeared to be a manager. Seems like they were short handed. This is still a great place for breakfast and hopefully the speed of getting that breakfast will be better next time !“
