“This place is absolutely delightful! Firstly, the tea (peaches and cream) and food (ham and cheese quiche) were delicious. The employees were lovely and there was great service. There's also a lot of fun tea and accessories for tea for sale. I was able to get a great set for a friend. The prices are also very fair. I highly recommend dropping by for a relaxing pot of tea with a friend or two.“
“Experienced this little cafe for the first time with my sister and her family this morning and it was absolutely wonderful. The crepes were so amazing, each of us ordered something different and ended up trying a bite (or two!) from each others plate. The hot coffees were the perfect temperature, I could drink my hot mocha right away without burning my mouth. The atmosphere was great. The workers were friendly and noticed immediately that we were new to the scene and gave us a quick run down of how they operate. I highly recommend! It IS very small so i would suggest not bringing an entire family as seating is limited, which brings me to another point! As we were trying to find a table big enough, a lady and her (I’m assuming) boyfriend noticed and offers to move to a smaller 2-person table so we could have their larger table! How nice! Will definitely be returning ?“
“Thank you for delivering food to us while our road is under construction, my boyfriend can hardly walk so it’s much appreciated, especially when I’m at work. Everyone is going to complain about the price but everything everywhere has gone up so I’ll continue to eat here, food is always good and consistent. Just wish they could serve soup before 10.“
“This is a great place to go. They serve up great coffee. I especially like their Turtle Mocha. I always ask for sugar free and decafinated. They always make mine that way. “Whenever I'm visiting Waterloo I make a point of stopping and getting a sidecar seasonal latte and I buy some of their espresso beans to take home. Today I tried the Dolly Parton latte which was cherry cake batter and it was lovely. Delicious and I love supporting this small business.“
“The Monte Cristo makes me believe in love again and sweet potato salad could bring peace to the Middle East, but the service is cold and indifferent and parking is a headache.Parking: Bring a quarter for the parking meter because dining here is like shopping at Aldi, only you don't get your quarter back when you're done.“
“If we can’t make payments at customer service anymore can you have more than one checker? Line of 6 very full carts and I have to wait behind them to make a payment on my credit card? Since there was 1 family at customer service, can the 1 of the 2 people behind customer service go check out some people? This isn’t a one time thing This happens every time I’m there. You encourage the self check out but I can’t make a payment on my card there. It doesn’t even matter because the self checkouts get backed up too because people are waiting to be ID for alcohol.“
“I've been want to try this restaurant. But I have to admit I was put off a little bit because it's inside a grocery store. But it was amazing . The ambience was great the waitress was wonderful one of the best I've had in a long time the food was great I will totally come back again. We had kids with us and they were treated well. Was surprised that they have a full bar.“
“I like the place very much but most of the time they don’t have the ribs in the hot food area. Have to settle for baked chicken instead. Sometimes I would like the meatloaf but they don’t have that as much either. I’m not one for fried foods but that’s about all that they have in the hot meal section. Otherwise everything is great.“
“Visiting from Tampa, Florida. A colleague said this was the best coffee in town. I asked if they could make my favorite cuban cafe con leche, and it was perfectly made. The scrambled egg and goat cheese turnover was fabulous. I took a cherry pastry to go with another cup of cafe con leche. Well done!!“
