“I’m a dad of three young children, so I mostly go to restaurants where my kids feel comfortable and won’t complain about how the food looks, tastes or smells (if you have a picky eater child, you know exactly what I am talking about here.)Crêpes de Luxe is a place that all three of my kids, and I’m talking ages ranging from 4 to 12 years old, ask to go back to over, and over, and over again. The space is cozy and the owners are beyond friendly. They remember me and my kids as recurring customers and they always greet us with a big smile and a welcoming attitude. The food is always tasty and they have a wide variety of sweet and savory crêpes that makes it guaranteed for you to find something you like. Mine and my kids favorite is l’océan.I love their “open kitchen” sort of concept where you are able to see the chef preparing and cooking your crêpes. Somehow it connects you to both the food and the people who prepare it. I find it resembling of European and North African (where I grew up) restaurants style. It makes for a friendlier and more authentic environment that goes beyond just the food. The décor is also both warm and uplifting, makes it the right spot for a cold winter date night dinner or a sunny summer day lunch. If you haven’t been to Crêpes de Luxe yet, you are missing out.“
“It was Saturday morning & the cafe was busy. Took about 25 minutes to place our order. Wonderful breakfast selection & coffees. Very clean and organized. Staff excellent and the food fabulous! Will definitely go back. My cafe mocha was perfect & the avocado toast anaz“
“We're so glad to have a quality food stop on our trips between MN and IL. Finding quality food on the road is challenging and this spot is heaven sent. We've loved everything we've tried off of the menu. The service is so kind and fast, and the prices are fair. :)“
“A M A Z I N G!!! So very yummy! There are so many options. Fresh, made to order, or shop the store. Eat in or out. Take home. Whatever you like. Super busy, but you can still find all kinds of wonderful surprises. If you are a foodie, you've got to come here!“
“I got the drip coffee medium roast, the Israeli breakfast, and a chocolate pastry. It was good, especially the coffee and crossiant. The barista I spoke to definitely was very knowledgeable and friendly. It was expensive but they arnt doing things like the other coffee shops I've been to in the area, so the price seems fair. I wouldn't get the breakfast again but I would come back based on how good the coffee and pastry was.Kid-friendliness: There were several families with younger children in Cortado when I was there“
“This is a wonderful place to study, meet someone or even just for some quiet time. It wasn't too loud, and the music is also not so loud or distracting. There are many different kinds of sitting arrangements, with sufficient outlets as well.“
“I work downtown and stopped into Mammitas for a coffee. The atmosphere is so cozy and inviting. The staff is very welcoming and knowledgeable about their products. Upon their recommendation, I ordered a Horchata and it was the best drink I've ever had! I didn't get food this trip, but I've had it before and it is excellent. I highly recommend this amazing local spot!“
