I'm from the Pacific Northwest. Coffee here is a cross between art and religion, and the truly devout avoid Starbucks like the plague.
Black Bird is where I get my coffee when I'm passing through, and the owner is a blessing.
Kind and welcoming owner and space. I wish I lived close enough to be a regular!
