Super friendly, fast, and made a killer drink. You can tell she loves what she does and knows how to make people feel welcome. If you’re ever there and see Allecia behind the bar, you’re in good hands! Make sure you tip her well, she’s definitely worth it!!!”

“Terrible experience, very disappointed with our visit today. We talked about going there all weekend because we enjoy the 86. Drove over an hour to get there by four today because they were closing early. The girl at the front was very sweet. We were very excited to be there and told her it was our first time there. She said we could sit down and order or go to the bar. We sat down and several servers looked at us, but no one waited on us. We went to the bar and said we had never been there before. A guy said there is a menu on the counter but I'll be over there cleaning, let me know what you want and walked away. We had no idea what we were doing since it was our first time there. I wanted to try wines and my husband whiskey, but not if no one wanted to wait on us. So, we looked at each other and decided to leave. Once in the parking lot I realized it was a long way home and I should use the restroom first. So, I went back in, and I told the girl behind the counter we were leaving because no one waited on us, but I needed to use the restroom first. When I came out of the restroom she said to enjoy the rest of our day. Would have had a better day if we could have tried something... Went from very excited to be there to can't wait to leave...”

“My 8-year-old daughter is severely allergic to eggs so we were thrilled to find Andy's Pastry Shop! We ordered some mini vanilla cupcakes and they are fantastic!! The frosting is buttery and silky, and the cake is moist and absolutely delicious. You would never know it's vegan! Andy is SO friendly and accommodating to whatever needs you may have. I highly recommend this bakery!”

“In August 2025, we visited the Fireside Winery at the Amana Colonies in Amana, Iowa. The Fireside Winery has colorful outdoor glass bottle sculptures on display. The Amana Colonies are a collection of 7 Colonies of German Heritage in Central Iowa, and they are not Amish. The Fireside Winery was fun to visit and see the outdoor decorations. Besides the Fireside Winery store, there are also many quaint shops and buildings, and they are all clean and well-maintained. Apparently, the Amana Colonies draws the highest number of visitors of any tourist attraction in Iowa. We greatly enjoyed visiting the Fireside Wine, which is part of the Amana Colonies.”

“This wasn’t always my favorite winery in the Amanas, only because they have a lot of sweet fruit wines and I like things somewhat dryer. But, they launched their Fireciders and those are incredible and the reason why I come here now!! Great staff every time we come here as well.”

“The only thing nice about this visit was the lady working the gift shop. Who came over and told the kids there was something for them to find in the gift shop and gave them a paper to write Santa a letter. The guy setting people gave us no estimate of time for how long it was gonna take . We waited and hour and 10 minutes. After we were sat we asked the waitress if we could put our food order in because we knew what we wanted and we didn't want to wait any longer. She rudely said can I just get the drinks , then after we gave her the drink orders she asked for the food order. She could have poileltly told us she had to put the drinks in first to go ahead with the order. My daughter got a sprite it was out of syrup tasted like just carbonated water we let the waitress know . She rudely told us will that just how it is so that's how its gonna taste. So fine get her a root beer then but also what the heck. Wait like another 25 minutes nothing. Doesn't come back with my daughter's replacement drink or the alcohol drink my friend had ordered ..finally we just decided to go up and pay for the drinks we had got and leave went up front to do so. An the guy told us we could just leave , and followed us out , utterly terrible service. Sharing this here since the owner decided to lie when responding to my review. No wait time was ever given. No one ever slammed there fist down an the waitress was beyond rude telling us can I just get the drinks when we told her we wanted to place our orders. She was rude when we told her the syrup was out on my daughter's drink and her response was well thats just how it comes out of of the machine so that's how its going to be .That was her response literally word for word for word . To us telling her it was out and needed to be changed .Was i can get u another one but it going to come out of the same machine. Thats why we had let her know it was out of syrup so someone could change it. Then not only did 25 minutes pass with her not bringing my daughter a replacement sprite or even a root beer because I had even said fine she will just take a root beer then . Before we decided to just leave. An pay for our drinks we. We went up to the front the guy told us we could just leave and followed us to the door while telling us merry Christmas. I hope they train there waitress better on how to be polite an talk to customers the response to be told a soda is out of syrup should not be well that just how it comes out of the machine so that's just how its gonna taste it should be let me fix that or if u don't know how to fix it then say that and give the option for them to choose a different drink.”

“we sent a cold snowy night in Amana, the Electric Social Club was one of the only things open. Casey the bartender was welcoming and helpful. Great atmosphere, great service, and one of the best Classic Bourbon Old Fashions I have had in a long time. Great Job Casey we will be back - Group of 6 from MN/WI”

“The Godfather's is in a gas station, so the atmosphere is not very relevant. Every time I have ordered from them, the pizza is perfect, looks perfect, and is delicious! The staff for the Godfather's pizza is so friendly, helpful, and makes you feel like they remember you each time you walk in. I would recommend them to anyone! And don't forget the struesel pizza, it is well worth the extra trip to the gym for!!”

“Will and Brayden were the 2 best Subway artists that I have seen in a long time in any location. The Tiffin location has needed this for a while as my last experience there was horrible to the point I threw my sandwich away. They were both engaging and nice young men. They made the sandwiches perfect. I have been getting the exact same sandwich since 1993 and have seen it made hundreds of times and it along with the other 2 sandwiches we ordered were exactly how they should have been made for placement and proper amounts. They truly showed they cared about their jobs and you are lucky to have them.”
