We asked the server if she could ask the noisy table to lower their voices and she said she couldn't. I know The Clipper is extremely busy on taco Tuesday and that's fine, customers should be respectful and servers should ask people to lower their voice a few notches if they are disrespectful.“

“I’ve been a regular here for years until I moved to another city but I still work in Grimes and I got my co workers food today from here. The bartender was super nice on the phone and in person. When we got the food back to my office everything was perfect. The food was amazing. My boss who usually trashes anything I order if it isn’t something in his usual food places, well he absolutely loved it and said next time we ever get burgers that’s where we are going from this point on! “HyVee is a friendly Midwest grocery store chain. They typically have the freshest produce of anu grocery store, and the best selection. Their focus may not always be on the lowest prices, but they have a better selection and higher quality product than some cheaper stores. They're not overpriced, just maybe not the lowest. I find them to be a good value for quality and money. Staff is always friendly!“

“The atmosphere was very laid back, the food was really good we got buffalo egg rolls, spinach artichoke dip for appetizers I got the Philly cheesesteak and fries and friend got the Nutty Buddy Burger with Cole slaw we really enjoyed both appetizers and our meals. Service was quick and I appreciated how nice our server was also I assume the manager or lead but she kept coming over to make sure we were satisfied and that our food was tasting good! “We stopped in for the first time Tuesday night. It was not too busy. We had a dog with us and they were very cool about her being there. We sat outside on the ground level patio. Not very noisy and a nice atmosphere.

Our server was super helpful with all of our questions, especially regarding gluten-free options. Quick to bring out our drinks, appetizer, and meals.

The nacho appetizer was very good and to big for the 2 of us to finish 😉 We wanted to leave room for the main course!
My smash burger was yummy and so was the coleslaw.
