“I love this restaurant so much. I love the rotating menu with new seasonal dishes and fan favorites. I love the location in a historic home. I love the owner and staff and how hard they work to serve good food in a welcoming atmosphere. Some of my favorite dishes include the pickle soup, garlic salad, salmon sandwich, meatloaf, lobster bisque, Reuben sandwich, orange crepes, and (right now) the crawfish Étouffée. I love the local beer and wine selection as well as Mandy’s bloody marys. This is such a special restaurant and I’m so glad it is a part of our community.”

“We found this place while driving through from Fort Collins to Chicago and were so happy with our decision to stop. The friendliest staff, a room full of happy customers and a killer view of the river. I ordered the Pilsner and was blown away with how perfect it was. They have a wide variety of styles for every beer drinker too. I can’t recommend this place enough!”

“I freaking love whitey's! We come almost every other day and i personally get a 1.5 qt and eat it all right there! Their ice-cream is the best in the widwest! Shout out whitey's! The workers are great and they are all happy to see us when we walk in! They ask what flavor today! Ella and Tyler deserve a raise! In fact all of the workers do! (sorry I forgot most of the names) but this is our go to location the people are great and the ice cream is great! All around a great place!”

“Really nice atmosphere. Very nice bartenders. Bathrooms very clean & even have cell phone holder!! Great live music. Beautiful outdoor patio with fireplace. Only suggestion would be to add some baffles in the ceiling to help with noise. Fun place, recommend!!”
