“This is the only restaurant that was serving food this time of day on a Sunday and I’m glad because the food was exceptional!!! There were eight of us. 3 of us got the chicken CascadeIA one got a mushroom Swiss burger two got the Philly steak one got a chef salad. “I stopped in one evening to have a couple of drinks. The bar is clean and looks very nice. I wish I could say I had a great time but the red headed bartender that was working seemed absolutely useless. She saw me come in and take a seat at the bar but instead of coming to wait on me she sat down and made someone else who was working in the kitchen take my order. After having a few drinks and talking with the other customers there I decided to order some food. When I asked the bartender with the red hair if I could see a menu she looked at me like I was speaking a different language. I asked if the kitchen was still open and then the light bulb turned on. She very rudely told me she wasn’t cooking and walked away. It was only about 8:30 PM so I asked some of the other people if there was a reason she wasn’t going to cook and they said she is just lazy. I had a good time here, if only the owner could hire someone a little more competent and friendly it would have been even better. I will be stopping by again and hopefully there will be a different bartender when I do.”

This is my second philly from Subway in Monticello, iowa and i was yet again not dissapointed. I plan on returning there soonHey everyone. I know I haven't been here all too often but a lot has happened since my last post. Me and my wife god divorced and it was all about that god damn sandwich. You see, for the last 4 years by wife had been forcing me to be a vegan. For 4 years I wasn't allowed to eat any meat but when I got that first philly I just about had it. My cravings for meat and cheese were so out of control I just had to indulge myself in another Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich. Both my first and second sandwich runs were a success but on my third venture to subway, my wife's boss had also been there and saw me eat my philly. About 10 minutes later I got a call from my wife, she was screaming and yelling. calling me a monster and asking how I could betray animal lives the way I had, she then told me that she had secretly been having an affair with none other than her boss, and that her boss had been waiting for me to slip up so that way she could divorce me. I am now homeless, and I live on the corner of the road by the subway and every day I go out and beg for money, and when I can, I buy another philly cheesesteak. I just cant control myself anymore and If I don't fix my life fast I may end up in a dead end, or 6 feet under.”
