“The service was great, and it's a cute place. My Reuben was delicious, would order it again. Like so many diners, the coffee was meh. None of us cared for the potato salad (bland & dry), and the desserts were overly sweet. 3 of us would go back, one would not.“

“I’ve never had a bad experience when at the Beach House. I have definitely seen bar patrons get feisty with the bartenders and they act appropriately. This is one of my favorite bars in town!!“

“4 of us visited around 12:30pm. It was quite busy at that time. We sat way towards the back of restaurant. Our server took our drink and food orders right away. From our table we could see the action in the kitchen. Again, it was very busy, and I believe it was just the 1 woman working the grill. And she was constantly at work. Thankfully we were in absolutely no rush, because it took a long, long, long, time to get our food. And then there was a problem with one of our burgers not included with the group order. The cook came out and told us about that. Seriously, a non issue for us today. We had ordered onion rings, but got French fries. I did not mention the fact to our server, and just enjoyed the yummy fries. I was not charged for onion rings. With all that said, we had a very nice visit, and the food was delicious. There are plenty of other yummy sounding offerings on the menu.“

“Beautifully designed. Staff maintains the course as well as possible. The green fees were lower than average for quality of course. Pro shop staff helpful. GPS system on carts a great bonus! Plenty of Parking. Homes right up to course are amazing. Also spotted a ten point buck, does, fawn as well as fox, meadowlarks, farm with draft horses and foals.
( too many Ball marks on greens indicate lack of patron golf etiquette, which bothers us longtime and sage golfers).“

Being a high class professional server for over ten years in galena il..I always had the same positivity she had today.
