“I was only able to get here once before they closed due to the construction of the hotel. Food was OK, but the waitress was ho-hum. I'll give it a 4 star for now, but I plan on giving it another go once they reopen and give them a fair review.“
“The service was fantastic, the food was….okay. We were expecting a little more pizazz for the price. It was nice to have such a large selection of vegan and plant based options, even it it was a bit underwhelming. The wasabi has more of a kick than most restaurants we’ve tried so that was a plus. Nice ambiance “
“4.0 While a nice crispy waffle, are definitely at best cornmeal waffles. Barely a taste of cornmeal, definitely not cornbread waffles. The bell peppers are red and the skins are all that's there, surmising the flesh disintegrated because so they used frozen chopped. No jalapeno at all that I could taste or see. The andouille was diced way too small, the same amount but a larger dice would have added to the flavor combo. The chicken was prepared perfectly. The gravy was nice and light and didn't compete with the syrup. Syrup didn't come across with a bourbon caramel taste but it was a nice compliment to all the other seasonings. I'll come again and try something new. I had a lovely New Zealand Monkey Bay Sauvignon Blanc.“
“Stepping into the Diving Elk, you feel sophisticated. This gem is one of Sioux City's best as far as restaurants and bars go in the area with an evolving, seasonal menu that will make you want to try something new every time you visit! Don't sleep on the classics like the truffle fries and brussel sprouts though, there's a reason those always stay. Also try out their weekend specials! After your visit, you'll know why this place consistently has a "Siouxland's Best Bar Tender" nominee. They are experts in their craft with an incredible selection of cocktails and craft beers. Sioux City is lucky to have such a trendy, vibrant spot for the foodies out here.“
