“They were packed when we arrived at noon, but we were seated right away. We both ordered one of the (three options) for specials. We received our soup and salad promptly and our food came when we were finished with our salad. The portions were enormous and it was delicious!!! We have never received so much great food at such a low price. Great experience all around with great staff!!!!“
“I brought my husband to Sioux City to the hard Rock casino as a thank you and a Valentine's Day date.When I was looking at the website I noticed that they had a gastro pub restaurant and they were offering a Valentine's Day menu which had New York strip steak on it, which is my husband's favorite. The restaurant is called Main and Abbey.We arrived for our reservation that was for 8:00 p.m. at 7:50 and we were seated immediately. It was brought to our attention by our waitress that our table had not been cleaned. So she immediately went and grabbed a rag and a dry rag and came back and cleaned our table off for us.Are waitresses name was Cali C. We ordered the New York strip steak medium well with Parmesan, garlic fries and a side of their Brussels sprouts. The steak came out cooked to perfection. It was very juicy. Very tender. Not a lot of fat. The french fries were perfectly seasoned with a garlic and the parmesan and the Brussels sprouts had the perfect amount of walnuts and pomegranate drizzle on them and they were perfectly crispy.Cali C. “Absolutely amazing! Food tastes fresh and not greasy like other places. Staff are really nice, but they do need more staff. Amazing people with amazing food. Highly recommend and will be coming back. The seats do have holes in them but that didn't take away from how nice it was to be there.Vegetarian options: I hate the veggie omelet and it was awesome.“
“It's very different from lemars. The inside is very kool. Menu and the way they prepare food is very different also. I wish they at least made menu items the same. Pub club didn't look or taste like 4 Brothers sandwich. Wasn't impressed.“

“Went to Wheelhouse to see an NFL playoff game on their big screen televisions. My son absolutely loved his bacon cheeseburger and said fries were good but nothing unique. I had a great club sandwich with a bowl of chili (a slight upgrade over standard fries) and thoroughly enjoyed my alternate combo. Service was fantastic despite being very busy that night. Wheelhouse is located in a popular strip mall so found a parking space and did some walking to the bar.“

“The waiter was "Johnnie-on-the-spot". We waited on nothing. 3 of us had the 3 meat combo. The rib tips were tough compared to the other meats we had, but not too tough to complain about. The corn bread was almost the best we have ever had.They have bread pudding. I try bread pudding every time I see it on the menu. To compare it to my own. I have to admit that this is the first time I have ever had bread pudding that comes close to mine. It is better than some of my attempts but not all.If you are ever in Sioux City Iowa, I highly recommend you pay them a visit.“

“Drove all the way from Sioux Falls, SD to get Old Chicago. We had Jahni as our server. She was prompt, friendly, talkative. Our food was excellent. A tad sad they didn’t have spicy marinara, but above all great. Would recommend to anyone, and above all our service was excellent. Will definitely make the over an hour drive again for Old Chicago!“
“Always love going to Bob Roe’s when I have the opportunity. The wings and pizza are some of the best I’ve ever had.The pizza always has a good bake on it with crisp, slightly charred pepperoni.There are a few former Sioux Citians that I know that hit one of them every time they are back. Be sure to try to be a bit away from the speaker or it will blow your ears out.The food was fresh, host and delicious. My deduction of one star is based on price. “4.0 While a nice crispy waffle, are definitely at best cornmeal waffles. Barely a taste of cornmeal, definitely not cornbread waffles. The bell peppers are red and the skins are all that's there, surmising the flesh disintegrated because so they used frozen chopped. No jalapeno at all that I could taste or see. The andouille was diced way too small, the same amount but a larger dice would have added to the flavor combo. The chicken was prepared perfectly. The gravy was nice and light and didn't compete with the syrup. Syrup didn't come across with a bourbon caramel taste but it was a nice compliment to all the other seasonings. I'll come again and try something new. I had a lovely New Zealand Monkey Bay Sauvignon Blanc.“

Service was friendly but a bit slow. The atmosphere would be great with a bit of work. The booth I was seared at was torn all the way across with all of the foam coming out. Basically, I was seated in a hole. The lighting was too bright over the table with food splatters all over the light fixture. They were slow as this was an afternoon with multiple empty tables with dirty food and plates on them. Used to be a great place. Not w/c accessible or handicap accessible as the restrooms are down flights of stairs. “The burgers are seriously to die for! It's like the adult version of McDonald's, but sooo much better. I love that patty is greasy but not gag greasy. It doesn't make the bun soggy, and it doesn't overpower the condiments on the burger. I absolutely love the cheese curds. There's usually a wait to get the food but totally worth it. Yum!“

“We try to go for brunch at Minervas after Church on Sundays as often as we can do so with our schedule. Brunch is excellent, except that I must say that the biscuits are on the HARD SIDE--definitely not soft/fluffy style Southern biscuits; and, the gravy, on occasion, is hard, that is, the gravy needs more moisture in it's composition in order to put it over one's biscuit if one desires to do so. Attentive staff, nice atmosphere, and, good selection of breakfast items that we enjoy having for brunch. I am glad that we do have a restaurant of high quality such as Minervas here in Sioux City.Parking: Plenty of parking in the parking lot.“
“The food is great, service also. If you are bringing family members with children it is best to sit towards the back near the children's play area. We have been going for years and rarely go anywhere else. The lunches and dinners are reasonably priced. Taco Tuesday and Friday's cod fish dinner or prime rib is excellent. For lunch, we order their great sandwiches. We order the onion rings all the time. We bring all family members who live out of town to Bob Roe's. We have gone so many times the servers remember us and know what we usually eat. Jeramy is the Best Cook and he has stated many times, that it's because of his staff.
