“We recently stopped in here for a drink during our weekend getaway and I was quite impressed. This is the nicest VFW that I have ever been in. In addition, the apple pie shot was absolutely delicious! I would not hesitate to come back the next time we are in the area.“

“Food was good typical bar food. We had fish & chips came out nice and hot. No lemon wedge. We also shared the appetizer combo. Shrimp, curds, onion rings, chicken tenders. Nice and hot when served. Then never saw our server again. Had to flag down another server to get our server so we could get our ticket to leave. Never saw one? Gave us a price has a hand held Device to check out with took my card said it didn't work. She needed a different machine. Left with my card came back fumble said we were checked out. Never got a receipt or an opportunity to tip. Hopping she did not help her self. Driving back to MPL just wanted to get on the road.
Did enjoy sitting on the dock listening to a couple of songs before the musician stopped.“
