“St Patrick's Day float with them then went out to warm up with some great food. Nice tall cider boys cider. We started with cheese fries with bacon. Chicken nuggets with slop sauce nice spicy tangy BBQ. Hog wild sandwich had pulled pork, bacon and more yum. The food was excellent and then the country band came in lots of two stepping going on as well as line dancing the ladies should be happy I did not have my cowboy boots on ?.”

It was a super generous helping and very decadent.The atmosphere is quaint and fun, with beautiful light fixtures.The gals serving us were friendly and helpful great job and thank you!Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp entrance in the back. I recommend bringing help or calling ahead, as you'll need to maneuver the gift shop area. Totally doable with care, just be aware.”

“My dad and I unexpectedly happened upon the Millstream Brewing Co while touring around Amana and stopped in for a quick beer and root beer. We ended up buying some to take home with us to continue to enjoy throughout the summer. I ended up enjoying it so much I made a trip back during the winter holidays to restock! The varieties of beers are inventive and creative. My favorite so far is Adult Nap Time. They seem to have a regular rotation of artists that perform at the brewery too! Definitely a good idea to check this place out for a relaxing moment.”

“El Super Burrito & Lupita's is really a great stop! The burrito was definitely one of the better in CR. The ingredients were simple, but each was really great on its own. With their powers combined, it is Captain…err Super Burrito! Shown below is the carne asada “Super Burrito.” The sauces were the perfect blend of spice and straight tastiness. Now my favorite part, the tamales. I’ve ordered them so many places and finally I’ve found my favorite! The pork was spicy and perfect for mah buds. BTW, it was incredibly fast and priced very well. They also have a bakery that looked amazing. Probably need to pick up some donuts in the AM.”

“We ordered the broasted chicken w/potato wedges and tenderloin w/fries. I am VERY PICKY with broasted chicken. However, this is THE BEST broasted chicken I've ever had!! It was moist, tender, and had a buttery taste to it. Did not have the normal greasy, oily taste. I highly recommended having it! The tenderloin was average. Service was good and servers were friendly. 3 stars for atmosphere just cause it's your normal hole in the wall bar.”

“I had an exceptionally excellent meal last night! Texas Roadhouse is ALWAYS great, but my server went above and beyond to accommodate my dietary needs and wishes. As a person following a gluten free predominantly keto diet, it’s not always easy! She gave me salad without croutons, I had the 16 oz ribeye medium rare, and loaded broccoli. Yes folks, broccoli with butter, sour cream, cheese and bacon, and when I asked for it on a plate instead of a small bowl, and explained why, (better cheese melt), she said heck yes and got ‘er done. Now I know this isn’t every one’s cup of tea, but it sure made my night, and I wouldn’t be surprised if she doesn’t try it herself next time… signed, Potatoes Not Necessary!”

“Absolutely amazing! Tonight was the first time I’ve tried Roscoe’s. I will definitely be back. I was a little shocked by the price but after trying it I can say it was 100% worth it. The pizza was top quality ingredients, cooked perfectly, came out of the oven at the exact time quoted and the service was super friendly. Plus, it was extremely filling, I could barely put down 2 slices even though I was starving! ???? Two thumbs up Roscoe’s!!!!!”

“I discovered this restaurant about 8 months ago and it is easily my favorite restaurant in town. Delicious home cooked meals with large servings of everything. The service is friendly and top notch! And it's clean with a homey atmosphere. And best of all, the prices are reasonable and you always get your money's worth! Try it, you won't be disappointed!!”

“Millstream Brau Haus solid eatery living in the Amanas! We popped in on a Saturday afternoon and were seated right away. Our server was truly amazing. He was attentive, kind and prompt. I had a German doppelbock and Millstream's own oatmeal stout. Delish! But the real star of the show were the chicken wings. Great size, well cooked and the sauce (Buffalo) was exactly what I was hankering. Dare I say they are among the best wings in the area!? I dare. The menu features a plethora of sandwiches and burgers (which looked amazing) with some German entrees, as well. I hear their pretzels are to die for. Prices were on point. While this eatery is open daily I will note; it closes earlyish (8 on weekdays, 9 on the weekend). Stop in for a pint-- grab some wings or a pretzel. Millstream Brau Haus is a must-have.”

It is inside an older traditional brick building and has a lot of character, actually reminding me of walking into a centuries-old restaurant in Europe. The basic colonial decor fits the character of the 19th century Colonies theme with a penchant for the color burgundy throughout the restaurant. I gave the atmosphere an average rating - clean and historic, yet also a bit aged. The service, quality and value of the food though is what stood out to me from our visit. Max W. was our server and he was very attentive, full of suggestions and made the experience quite enjoyable. My wife ordered the Ronneburg Melt with Fried Potatoes and I ordered the Schnitzel Sandwich with Pickled Beets (see picture below).
