“My kids and I had a wonderful experience when we stopped in a few weeks ago! The staff was knowledgeable and helpful when I was trying to decide between the Cold Brew iced coffee and MochaLatta Chill. We also ordered a Classic Roll and Oreo Bon and both were warm and delicious. We were in and out of the store in just a few minutes. We will definitely be back!“

“I have come to this location many times and the employees are always very friendly and efficient!! The only downside to this crumbl bakery would be the location it is in such a bad spot and the parking is always super busy and very tight. I’ve almost been hit multiple times by people parking basically on top of my car.“

“I dont give 5 stars for any company.This is far my favorite bread next Brownberry.I try to avoid not buy the company branded labels like Hyvee, Fareway or Great Value (Walmart brand). Just too bad I dont see this brand in Walmart.i know some Walmart Great Value bread is Country Hearth bread just the private labelHyvee sometimes is under Sara Lee.Just like tortilla- Mama Lupa's has there private label for HyveeSara Lee is just too expensive. Especially at Hyvee and Fair“

“Our family went out to a late lunch here today. The service was awesome, and the food was absolutely wonderful. We took advantage of their September special, and were able to try several menu items. “I’m so happy Des Moines finally has a South Korean bakery! TOUS les JOURS is super cute and has a great selection of pastries and drinks. They have cloud cake, macarons, and so many cute pastries! It’s soo hard to choose! I got a cloud cake, a milk bread loaf, and my favorite, sausage ppang. It tastes just like the ones in Korea! Everything was soft, fresh, and delicious. Their coffee goes perfectly with the pastries, and the staff is super friendly 🫶🏽🍰💕

“Immaculately clean store! Every staff person we saw greeted us warmly. Staff helped with getting food from the upper shelves and coolers (I am in a wheelchair). Check out was quick, accurate, and pleasant. Having someone help with loading the car was wonderful! Meat counter personnel were attentive and went out of their way to hand us what we ordered.“

“Went to 5 Borough Bakery today for the first time. My husband and I went 2 hours and 45 min after opening (10:45 am) on a Saturday. Their temporary hours state they're open until 2pm, so still another 3+ hours to go. Unfortunately, they had just 6 options to choose from and said that's all they had left for the day. We chose to go with Cinnamon rolls - they've been so highly regarded, we were looking forward to trying them for ourselves. Individuals were $5, or a 6-pack was $20 (but each roll was quite a bit smaller than what is provided in the individuals). We chose the 6-pack. Once we got home, the cinnamon rolls were very dense, not fluffy, some spots were hard while others were doughy, and frosting had little flavor - a whipped butter frosting (which tasted like there wasn't any vanilla in it, very bland), instead a cream cheese or other flavorful frosting. Overall, we were pretty disappointed with the cinnamon rolls after hearing so much hype about them. This plus the lack of selection and pricing have us hesitant on giving this place another shot.“
