“Went to 5 Borough Bakery today for the first time. My husband and I went 2 hours and 45 min after opening (10:45 am) on a Saturday. Their temporary hours state they're open until 2pm, so still another 3+ hours to go. Unfortunately, they had just 6 options to choose from and said that's all they had left for the day. We chose to go with Cinnamon rolls - they've been so highly regarded, we were looking forward to trying them for ourselves. Individuals were $5, or a 6-pack was $20 (but each roll was quite a bit smaller than what is provided in the individuals). We chose the 6-pack. Once we got home, the cinnamon rolls were very dense, not fluffy, some spots were hard while others were doughy, and frosting had little flavor - a whipped butter frosting (which tasted like there wasn't any vanilla in it, very bland), instead a cream cheese or other flavorful frosting. Overall, we were pretty disappointed with the cinnamon rolls after hearing so much hype about them. This plus the lack of selection and pricing have us hesitant on giving this place another shot.“

“Kudos to Hy-Vee for having many workers on Wednesday before TG. The parking lot was full but I was able to check out quickly. They were so prepared! Super great customer service!“

“I have come to this location many times and the employees are always very friendly and efficient!! The only downside to this crumbl bakery would be the location it is in such a bad spot and the parking is always super busy and very tight. I’ve almost been hit multiple times by people parking basically on top of my car.“

“I dont give 5 stars for any company.This is far my favorite bread next Brownberry.I try to avoid not buy the company branded labels like Hyvee, Fareway or Great Value (Walmart brand). Just too bad I dont see this brand in Walmart.i know some Walmart Great Value bread is Country Hearth bread just the private labelHyvee sometimes is under Sara Lee.Just like tortilla- Mama Lupa's has there private label for HyveeSara Lee is just too expensive. Especially at Hyvee and Fair“

“What a fun little Saturday activity! Fresh pastries and delicious cakes! Walk in, grab a tray and tongs and pick out as many items as you'd like. The staff will box your items to go at the register if not dining in. I did see a patio option too. Could be a great brunch or snack place too with lots of coffee drink options too. Go ahead treat yourself!“
