Loved the food, beer, and service. They have several 5 cities brewery beers on top. My favorite Bikini Bottom Pineapple Wheat! The brisket mac and cheese was de-lish! The cheese curds with the 2 dipping sauces were amazing. The only issue we could have shared an entree, food portions are big but appreciated. We will be going back!

Ordered online, food was 20 minutes late being ready. They messed up the order giving us regular fries instead of sweet potatoes fries, which was an up charge, also forgot to give us ranch which was also an up charge. When I went in to get a refund for the portions that they missed, she refused and said I had to go through door dash. The manager was not pleasant to work with and made it out like I messed up when it was clearly stated on the receipt. Will never eat here again.

Central Standard is one of my favorite places to go! Josie is an awesome bartender who is very attentive and great personality. I had Jerry as my bartender the last time I was there and he was just as awesome! Josie even came over and said hi and let me know that if I wanted wings I better order them as they were getting low on servings. Thank goodness because I love the wings! All their food I’ve had has been delicious! Thank you and I will be back.

One of the best restaurants in the DSM area! Always excellent tasting food no matter what you get and never a long wait! Huge thanks to Jerry for always making my visit great, He definitely deserves more than whatever he makes!

Truly can’t say a good thing about this place besides the music was a bop. If you want a few hairs in your food, poor service where they rarely check in you, wait an hour and a half for your cold food and have a chicken dip that smells and taste like hot dogs then.. test your luck at this .. establishment? Maybe stick with the beer but honestly.. go to Pelican Post. They will treat you way better and you won’t have multiple hairs falling out of your food. Good luck?

Honestly for the price this place is so worth it. Almost anything on the menu is going to leave you satisfied. Ive been a returning customer for over 2 years and never once left unsatisfied. First timers here are some things to try
- Chipotle Ranch sauce (Sauce)
- Fried Cheese Curds (Apatizer)
- Spicy Chicken Sammy (Fried chicken sandwich)
- Moscow Mule (Alcohol)
- The Sunny (Burger)

Went here for the first time today with my wife and daughter. The menu has a good variety of sandwiches and burgers. The beer was very good. The service was very good. The food was too greasy for my liking. Cole slaw was decent. When the bill came we had more money added because we used our credit card as a service fee and that is ridiculous when you are already charging up to $17.99 for a burger. Some may think it is petty but this was my first and last time here due to charging an extra 3% for using a credit card. Of the food was out of this world it might be different but the food is mediocre at best.

We dined at Central Standard for my husbands birthday for the first time. We ordered the brisket burger and the chicken BLT and kids meals. Overall food was great, big portions! Also ordered cheese curds 10/10. Will definitely be visiting again! Shout out to our server Jenna who made the experience great 👍

Amazing place with great food and beers. Had the new Granny Smith Apple Salad with smoked chicken and it was amazing! My team and I went there and had a lot of fun. Plenty of drafts and beers in general to choose from. Ended up going with a can of Pseudo Sue with the T-Rex on it. It was ice cold and can’t complain about a thing here. Lots of TVs around to watch sports.

This pains me to write but I hope for the love of god the establishment sees this and makes some changes. I've enjoyed nearly every meal I've had at this establishment until the tenderloin crew sampled this place. Serious changes need to be made to the tenderloin and it's preparation. Such comments as "mopwater", "flavorless", and "not a tenderloin" were heard. Please improve this staple of Iowa cuisine at this establishment, for the love of all that is holy.

I made a reservation in advance to come here and that was such an easy process. I even called to add a person to the reservation and that was an easy process.

Once we arrived we waited over an hour for food. One person in our party had several hairs in their food but the server did get them something new made. I ordered the buffalo chicken dip (one of my favorite foods) and it was honestly bad and I ate very little of it. Smelled and tasted like hot dogs randomly ?
I couldn’t even convince anyone at my table to eat my leftovers after they tried it it was so yucky.
They did have a whole gluten free menu which was appreciated.
The music playing though was banging and made you forget about the poor food quality.
We visited from out of town and would not recommend stopping here.
We ended up being here for 2 hours from the time we sat down to the time our cards finally got ran.

Great place to dine! The turkey burger was exceptional and the service out!standing. I highly recommend!
